The SEC has just as many dudes who can't hit a curve ball as any other league.  It has more guys who throw high 90s, but half of them can't throw strikes.

I'm guessing most guys who throw strikes in the high 90s aren't still in college...if they ever were.

lol if we finish 5-6 we end up with last year’s first place finish, probably win this year, and people all over will be talking about how we are struggling or over ranked, and what’s wrong with Texas, and some morons will pick us to lose our regional.

Let 'em.

I think you doubt this team at your own peril.

Drop no more than one in each of the remaining conference series and only LSU can catch us.  One sweep + three 2-1 wins and nobody can catch us.

Let's keep fighting then, and that's what these guys do. Next man up,  I had no doubts about Ruger, our pitching staff. Anyone pay attention  to what our hitters did to their ace? Didn't seem like much, but we made him work. Guy was up early and often and got pulled before the 6th was over right around 100 pitches. Then we made their next ace work until we got what we wanted. Yeoman's work. Tulo is getting his message across better than ever.

Meh, it was a rough night for the bats.  Prager is pushing a 5 ERA in conference.  We had some bad luck too.  I'm guessing we plate more than 2 today and tomorrow.  And most importantly we still found a way to win.

It was no shock that Prager threw a good game. Also, every team has some bad luck hitting nights. Auburn torched more than a few balls against us that went right to someone. It might "all even out" over the course of a season (I'd love to see a study on that), but most likely not during any one game.

3-run homer for Georgia to go up 4-2 on OU in the 6th

Keith is calling this game.  I guess he got shipped out so the worldwide leader could bring in Chris Burke for our series.

Schloss explained it in post game.  Pager had not been spotting the fastball in the upper part of the zone recently.  Unlike most pitchers he needs to keep his fastball up.  We had trouble laying off the high fastball.  He hides it well.  He pitches a lot like Jim Deshaies did.

So let’s win 8 and ignore those below us yeah?

and a win today and we go dormie with aggy?

Yes, 8 more wins clinches it.  If we beat aggy today, their tragic # drops to 1 Texas Win/1 Aggie loss.

5'8" 170 runner at 1st for Tennessee is jawing with Jones, LSU's 6'5' 250 first baseman.  Funny scene.  Guess a team can take on little man syndrome from their manager.

And then a 3 run HR, 9-2.  Looks like LSU will pick up their 7th conf loss.  Arky will be all alone in 2nd with 6 losses.

Pretty wild seeing LSU and Georgia dropping games at home to ranked teams. Seems to happen every week. Hell Tennessee and Arkansas have dropped home series to unranked teams. Was under the impression when you play at home you just pencil in Ws

No easy games in the sec. Every weekend is a war.  Well except for the team that is 18-2 in conference.  They seem to be doing ok.

Arkansas won, so no matter what happens in Baton Rouge our magic number remains 7.

Also, 6-4 gets us there as long as we take at least one from Arky.
