The only thing you need to say is congrats and hook em

a)no one likes a thread gatekeeper, and b) why do you want to whitewash the history of this board and pretend that didn’t happen? if you didn’t talk shit about him and tell him to transfer then you shouldn’t be triggered.

I didn’t, you decided to derail in the first sentence. I told him to go to Pluckers with Quinn and it jumpstarted a great season. You were a bitch

Wow. You'd think it would've been done sooner than now. But here we are.

Congrats, X!

8 catches, 157 yards, 2 TD in the super bowl as a rookie. helluva performance even though his team got mashed.

Does it really count with both were garbage time TDs?

No. The NFL is actually going to rescind all of his stats from this game.

Bobby Layne rushed for a TD in the 1952 NFL Championship and threw one in 1953.

What was his 40 time at the combine?

This is not a Bobby Layne era thread. This a thread that includes minorities and people who weren’t well off enough to forego careers in the 50s to spend time playing rec sports

The NFL integrated in the 1940s

NFL Championship isn't Super Bowl.

Of course it isn't, nor was my post intended to detract from the fastest player in the NFL.  Just an historical observation about Longhorns in the NFL.

Seems like most of our offensive players have landed in backwaters to one degree or another.

I mean you could count the number of great Texas offensive players in the league before 2010 on one hand

Has there been any others to do so in NFL championships?

Campbell, Ricky, Priest, Roy Williams is a quick 4.

Jamaal is pre 2010. There's your hand.

Bo Scaife.

I think we can get to 10 easily.

There were minorities on the NFL in the 1950s and while the NFL wasn't like it is today it was a successful league you could make a good living playing.

I don't really understand the rec sports point. College Football was huge in the 1950s.

No it wasn’t. There are farmers that were better options than the rich boys trotted out

I know he was going against the 2nd team, but that little shift into high gear on his 2nd TD was a thing of beauty.  Couldn't have been more than 3-4 strides but woop! he was behind those dudes.
