Nah, if Rice rights the ship and makes the tourney they'll get sent to College Sta..... oh, oops.

See how confusing this is, this was about Texas State or was supposed to be.

It's what I posted about.

Pretty cool to see over 5,000 people there for a midweek $2 Tuesday blowout. Looks like it's going to be a fun season in the RGV.

Best fans in college baseball✌️

Thank you to all 5,111 for making it the 4th largest crowd in program history! 🧡

ANOTHER UPSET in @NCAABaseball. Mercer knocks off No. 5 Florida State in Tallahassee. Bradley Frye with a huge game, hitting a home run, tallying three hits and knocking in three runs in the win. Jeb Johnson struck out nine in 5.2 innings. Time for wellness check on @Ben_Upton5

15-0 over Houston Baptist today.

Cal has won the first two over Stanford.

Arizona and West Virginia have split their first two.  Zona won in 16 innings yesterday.

Kansas is up in the 7th over Arizona St, looking to even the series.

Stanford has gotten their ass whipped too 13-3 and 13-4.

The've been run ruled twice in ACC play.   They did win the series against North Carolina  so they are feast or famine I guess..

Yeah man, this was our view of the Vaquero game. Our son isn’t playing as much as he would like, but it’s a great dugout. If they keep this up, it might be a real interesting offseason for the program.

Arizona St just went ahead of Kansas 5-4 with a 2-out 2-run double in the 7th.  TCU took 2 of 3 in Lubbock.  Arizona took 2 of 3 at West Virginia.

Wake is up 6-5 over Clemson.  Cal and Stanford are tied in the 8th with Cal going for the sweep.

North Carolina took 2 of 3 from Boston College and Duke swept Virginia on the road.

Oklahoma State is currently 11-10 and just dropped a series to Utah.. 1 trip to the CWS in Holliday’s 13 seasons. With the investment they have made in baseball have to wonder how much longer they are going to put up with this. Especially with Matt’s 2 kids passing on college ball

Houston Christian is tied for 2nd in the Southland.  The #5 RPI conference.

It's a tough conference, can't win them all! We'll be fine. That top 25 ranking must wait for another day, however.

It’s great the program down there is having a renaissance.

Recall when I was kid growing up down there in the 70’s and 80’s,  Pan Am was known for its baseball.   They used to host tourneys and Big 10, Big 8 and schools from the Northeast were down there for weeks to get some playing time in the warmer climate. It helped Pan Am raise its profile on the national stage and they actually attracted some of the talent from those areas of the country thanks to hosting those schools.

NGL, it's a bummer what has happened to Stanford, USC, and Rice baseball.

I’m still smarting from the bad lighting dropped routine fly out vs the Cardinal… that game/series ending  was infuriating.

In the end, it probably contributed to our current coaching situation.

I'm still not over our loss to LSU in 2009. I went to see that series and I can't get over it. The pain is too much. I still have my tickets.

Dont recall the exact scenario, was this in the final final or a knockout loser's bracket game?  Didnt realize the LSU pitcher that game is now our 3rd base coach.

It was in the final. I had my hopes suoer high because of Augie, but LSU took it to us. I wanted to scream so bad.

To a lesser degree, I'd add Tulane to that list too.

Pepperdine and CSFU were always salty from what i remember back in the day.
