It should be a Big Noon game unless NBC or CBS get to it first. I don't know how they handle who picks what but Fox will want this and Ohio State Michigan so I guess it depends what they want to trade it for. I'd love it to be on CBS since we never got a chance to be on there with the SEC.

I believe the week 1 choices are Fox Big Noon, CBS afternoon or NBC night. And NBC may opt for Utah-UCLA due to timezones

I do think we end up Big Noon

It will be FOX big noon. I believe this series and the Michigan series were both part of the negotiations with FOX to go to the SEC a year early. At least we get Gus/Klatt for a game this season.

Only the Michigan game was moved to help make Fox whole. We moved the Ohio State home and home back before Covid.

I believe each network gets one game to choose as their 1st choice every year. That's why Fox is announcing Big Noon games way in advance and not the 2 week window leading up to it. Joel Klatt once talked about that was why Texas OU wasn't a Big Noon game one year and instead went to ABC back when we were still in the Big 12. Maybe that's changed now that the Big 10 is no longer with ABC/ESPN. That said Ohio State at Oregon went to NBC for something like that each team gets a protected game. Maybe it makes no difference in OOC games. Maybe it does.

Mind your tongue when speaking about Gus. He’s the only announcer with any goddamn energy in the booth.

Come on, go watch the Texas/Michigan highlights. You don't like the slow, emphatic way he says, "Touchdooown TEXAS."

This is from last year.  Fox gets the first three picks in their weekly draft.

As policy, the Big Ten does not discuss specific parameters related to the broadcast windows. But based on published interviews with Fox executives and color analyst Joel Klatt, we know the following:

Fox, the Big Ten’s primary media partner, owns the first three selections in the weekly draft. (Note: The networks choose dates, not specific games.)With the first pick, Fox naturally chose Nov. 30 to ensure that it will broadcast Ohio State-Michigan, the most coveted regular-season game in college sports.

With the second pick, Fox selected Sept. 7, allowing it to secure the Texas-Michigan showdown.

Fox traded the third pick to NBC in exchange for better options lower in the weekly draft. Not surprisingly, NBC used the No. 3 pick for Oct. 12, the date of Ohio State’s visit to Oregon.

I recall reading this as well a while back or hearing about it on SXM 84.

Well there you go. It will be a Big Noon then if it follows the same draft order.
