Our offense is anemic.

Yeah. The guys in the bottom half of the lineup currently haven’t put together many competitive ABs this season. Obviously a long way to go, but the offense doesn’t look very good.

The offense stayed in Arlington, which is kind of an odd thing.

Play the supposed cupcakes at home and can't score.

Texas scored more runs against OSU in Arlington than in the entire Dartmouth series.

Need to play musical chairs with Winfield, Farmer and Borba and just hope at least one figures it out

I’d go with Borba. But I didn’t stay at a holiday inn express last night

Yep. Be interesting to see what happens in Vegas.

Ah well. Just win for now. We'll see if this stays a problem as the season goes on.

It's very possible that IWU has some talented Tuesday night pitchers. However, that kid from Dartmouth that wasn't breaking 83mph was very effective against this offense.  Maybe the bats are just behind the pitchers at this point.

Gem by Flores.  Both teams playing great defense.  Does the UIW pitcher have his drivers permit yet?

What’s crazy is the guy is a junior. I’m not that far out of UG (by my standards) and he looks young as hell to me haha.

I posted UIW pitching stats on the thread yesterday thinking at 7-1, they weren't gonna be a push over.  It wasn't as if they were run ruling everyone.

Meh.
End of the day this offense is going to live and die by hitting home runs and we should hit plenty of them.

I also expect we will draw more walks as the season goes on. That’s really a staple of the offensive approach by Schloss.

I’d lean Winfield. I think he’s much higher upside and can play defense. Borba certainly should be getting some ABs though.
