Is Tumis injured or other?  Haven’t seen him pitch once.

Look on the bright side. We've seen Baylor Cody Howard twice. Not sure about Tumis, but @Hookem2147 hinted that he's not throwing enough strikes for Schloss to trust him in games.

That Ole Miss run rule game is aging well so far.  OSU win not as much.

Seeing Texas Tech this bad (got smacked by Grand Canyon last night) is both shocking and hilarious. They’ve been on the steady decline for about 4 years now.

Good thing they gave Tadlock a lifetime contract.

They could always make things so bad for him that he decides to quit/retire.  That would be fun to watch.

Making him live in lubbock... what the fuck could they do to him?

It's at best a stepping stone program that is lucky to have someone who wants to coach there. Next stop for them is the Mountain West Conference.

Texas leaving the big12 really has and is going to continue to hurt them in recruiting. They used to be pretty heavy in the Austin/Centex area but tougher to do that when you don’t get to play here anymore.

Legit David Pierce is the kind of coach they should be hiring. Pierce can raise you floor but he lowers your ceiling. Tadlock has no ability and is a coach entirely dependent on roster.

They used to have a couple of legitimate arms back when they were going to Omaha semi-regularly but no HS or portal arm wants to play there anymore with how hitter friendly it is and their pitching coach is apparently a joke. Tadlock won’t get rid of him because he’s too loyal.

Yes, one Howard is enough.

Having seen them in person a few times they still have good arms.  Better arms than Texas.  But they do not have good pitchers

They really want to get Winfield going.

It isn’t applicable today against a righty starter but I’m starting to wonder about Rodriguez against lefties. He is like 2 for 16 against them this season. Maybe he should still be in the lineup regardless but I’m probably not batting him cleanup.

I’d there any collegiate site that tracks splits for individual players?

I don't remember a pitcher who seems to fall backward in the middle of his delivery like this guy.

He could probably add a decent amount of VELO if he didn’t let his hips fly open on delivery

What happened to Zeke?

All-American pitcher Greg Swindell’s voice was silenced somewhat when the Longhorn Network television channel was shuttered, but he told me at the Alumni Game that he will at least do 15 Big 12 baseball games and a regional for ESPN and said he is “pretty sure” he will do more than 25 Astros pregame and postgame shows.

If we lay off the low changeup, Martinez doesn’t really have anything else to put you away

Kimble has had such shit luck

Second time around for the order, I would hope they have learned to read that change.

Appreciate it, haven’t been able to find any site that tracks splits which is understandable given the amount of research that would take with how massive the collegiate player pool is

Fangraphs just unveiled this feature so give them time, I'll bet they get around to adding splits and other data.

Winfield is up there trying to hit the ball rather than do his job and it shows in every AB. Now up to 12 Ks and 0 Walks in 25 at bats. Up there hoping to get a hit with little to no approach
