SHOUTOUT to Weaver too.   What a warrior second half.  I was completely fucking wrong about him being unplayable bc of his lack of shooting.

His athleticism and knack for good basketball make him essential.

Spark plug!

What are the odds those idiots boycott this tonight? More like a Burnt Orange than a Blood Moon. The outcome of the game was “in the stars”, lol!

I like it.  RT thank you for your services and take the others with you.

The guys are doing what they need to do to win🤘🏻

I don't know if it's because of injuries but it's like RT has finally realized that our best offense is when Mark dictates things. I don't know why it took until the SEC tournament to figure this out.

Again, that’s coaching. In these last two games, they haven't tried to “force” the ball to Tre on every play.  Everyone is getting involved, which is GREAT.

On the other site someone stated, “The players get no help from their coach(s) in scheme or drawing up plays. The players are winning on their own ability.” I agree with that.

Someone responded, “Frank is running the offense. He went 0-12 at Missouri and resigned over a text message. This is the guy they chose to run the Texas offense. Make it make sense.”

I looked it up just to see if it's true.  It's old news, but still true.😳 Now it makes you wonder is this the reason the offense is so fucked up, and they have to play iso ball🤷‍♂️

Let's keep it going, guys, and do whatever it takes to win🤘🏻

The big thing with Mark essentially running point is he just has more size/physicality than both Pope and Larry.

18 FTs in the 2 SEC tournament games for Mark. Pope lives off jumpers and Larry just looks to create for others. With Mark, he has the intent of getting to the rim and creating contact.

That FT number should be more like 25 over 2 games because aggy fouled Mark several times to the rim on no-calls.

Oh shit you're right. 9-3.

And the 3 losses were a 4 point loss to K-State, 4 point loss to Tennessee that made the Elite 8, and 7 point loss to Miami that made the final 4 (much closer than that score indicates).

Who knows what happens today but we have played well in tournament settings under RT.

You are right.  Pope is a set up/jump shooter which running plays would benefit him. I like Pope offensively. Defense still shaky. Larry looks to create for others which really doesn't work in this offense due to no movement, cutting, screening or spacing. It will work though with a coach who has a good offense, I've seen it when I looked him up and that previous coach who had a good offense.

I love Mark and have been watching him for years.  Mark is not a PG but I like his ability to drive and create contact.

They guys are doing what they can do to win in spite of the coaching.  Lets Go Guys🤘🏻

Honestly with Weaver on the floor we probably would've won a few more games this season and probably wouldn't even be talking about the bubble and possibly Terry's job.

Pooooooooooor aggies

They use a lot of colorful language and contrived victim scenarios to say, "We need to leave again so Texas doesn't keep beating us in everything."

Probably right but let's not let CDC frame it that way.

Injuries happen. Coaching through them is part of the job.

Yep - it's part of the game.  Every team deals with them, I hate using it as an excuse

Go look at the other coach in Moody - he lost his starting PG and still made the Elite 8 a year ago.  By converting a true freshman SF into a PG.

Coaching and good schemes can overcome injuries.

The 100 year decision set to be a 15 year one? ... Until the conferences change again and we kick them out of the sandbox again, and it becomes a 7 year one, then 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 ...

"Today Texas A&M has decided to shut down all athletic programs. 'We will however continue our proud judging programs,' said new Texas A&M University President Meat Pimp."

You are right, coaching and good schemes can overcome injuries but sadly we don't have that.  The guys did the best they could with what they had.  Now, they winning by any means necessary.  Let Go🤘🏻

I been telling y'all. Texas is a tournament team.
