I wish him s great future for obvious reasons, but he’s not exactly sacrificing his body in this game.

He's 19 and he's tired. Texas won the game they (likely) needed to.

Gotta do better than Tre hero ball…

That is literally our offense all year long.  Too late to hope for better

Assuming RT is gone at seasons end, wish there was a way for them to shitcan Haith first, since he deserves it even more. What a lazy, worthless hire.

I chortled when Bilas said “Texas just needs to get into their offense…”

This should be the year Tennessee makes a run. If Rick make a run a deep with a team that’s got multiple 4 and 5 year players then he won’t ever do it. Experience like this is what you want to get with the portal plus good hs recruiting and development.

Bilas is such a condescending prick.

"That's a flop"

(sees replay - realizes it's absolutely a fucking foul)

"Well that's a foul but it's also a flop"

Yup, we played those first two tournament games on Red Bull and 5 hour energy.

We are reverting back now

For a marquee player, Tre’s defense and hustle in a big game like this is… extremely disappointing. I’m trying to be kind because we need his scoring, but it stands out.

Be kind because we need his points.  How many points has he given up on the other end😬

It's been said before and often but it's so obvious many of the transfer guys we loaded on for this season are not the level of athlete needed for conference play.

Kent, Pope, Larry.  Hell even Shed really.

I hope we make smarter portal acquisitions for next season.

This team would be a lot different with Toppin, but either Tech's offer was out of the park or the BMDs said no to RT's plea

Lots to unpack, but obvious ones are that early in the season they planned to have Mark playing the point and Pope at the position he played at Corvallis.  Why did that change?  Both look better in this tournament, shouldn't have taken this long.  A healthy Weaver would've helped a lot, but none of these things could overcome the ineptitude of the staff.

Kent is fucking worthless man. Thought he could be good but he's been such a major disappointment all season. No presence, no ball security, no aggression. Just a soft, somewhat talented, undersized 4.

Lets start with the coaching staff first and then go from there.
