You know Rose is gonna fall apart tomorrow. Bryson may spoil the Scottie/Rory Sunday final pairing though.

Still like Lowry as a darkhorse. Guy is nails.

I’d love to see Scottie/Bryson and Rory/Lowry in the last two groups. Lowry is my 2nd favorite golfer after Scottie. I’d love to see him get a major, especially if he’s beating his best friend. I’ve always had a soft spot for guys with a little extra padding, starting with Craig Stadler, because they remind me of me.

I’ve done a complete 180 on Bryson after not really liking him when he first came on tour. Pinehurst last year made me a fan, plus all the fun shit he does on YouTube.

You just know Scottie is going to have a day where he gets locked in and rips off 4 consecutive birdies and avoids bogies for a -6. I hope it’s tomorrow.

So candid and down to earth and kind with the media. Can't believe the 180 this dude has done - and I don't understand anyone still hating on him unless it's just blanket LIV hate.

Just saw a guy say he had the biggest and loudest gallery of anyone including Rory and Scottie today.

Bryson definitely improved his image. I used to not like him but enjoy him except for the Liv factor

The kids love him. Good for him and he seems like he found himself

Yeah I’m good with Bryson now. The beefcake bomb and gouge backed him into a corner where he could really only contend at a limited number of major setups. Wish we could see him play more but he’s clearly rounded out his game and is a top player in the world

Probably because he was a cocky douche on the PGA tour throwing temper tantrums and kind of acting like a bitch when things didn't go his way. And yeah, LIV participation is a big hit in my mind. He's free to make his own choices, and I'm free to judge "celebrities" by the choices they make. The LIV tour is a clown show.

His new personality must have taken hold since he's been on the LIV tour, but that gets about 50K viewers a week, so nobody knows. I still think he's kind of a tool, but he no longer aggravates me. A few more years of sporadic majors coverage and people will catch on. But in the meantime, those that watch golf regularly are busy watching the PGA and probably just remember the brash douche of pre-LIV days.

Seems like he's still aggravating you pretty effectively.

Dude is the fan favorite at Augusta right now. You don't have to like him but his gravitas is undeniable and he doesn't need the PGA Tour to pull it off.

Two days in, 5+ miles a day my feet fucking hurt, i’m down about 2000 at the pro shop but less than 100 at concessions. Absolutely fantastic weather. We’ve been getting up at 5:15 AM on the road by six standing in line by 6:30. on Thursday We did the honorary starters then dropped a chair on the rope directly behind the flag onto hole 2, pin was right in front of us, if you watch the broadcast, you saw me. Bhatia hit his second into a chair to my left. They had to move everything and give him some space. Then they moved all the shit back and then Bryson hit the same damn chair in the next threesome, had to move everything again, and then Shane Lowry hit one into the crowd to my right. So at one point, I’ve got Bryson a few feet away to my left and Shane a few feet away to my right. I never had to move, but everybody else did. Then Rory was right in front of me. We watched everyone come through 2 and then walked all around the course. Today we were dawn patrol again and grabbed a spot on the rope on 16 but directly behind 15 so we could watch the approaches (lay up or go) from 15 as well as see 16 very well. By the way, a range finder is a great thing to bring to the masters. We left our chairs and then went and sat in someone else’s chairs on 2 for a couple of hours. After we grabbed some lunch, we went to 10 and chased Rose from 10-13 just squatting peoples chairs then sat in the grandstands at 15 and watched them come in, and then went to our chairs on 16 and watched everybody else from there. I’m gassed. Two more days of this. I’m missing the Tour box at the Players, the Masters ain’t no day the spa. Those hills are no joke.

How did you spend 100 bucks at concessions. Everything there is dirt cheap.. Guessing a large number of people and been there since Monday

The rumor is that Bryson’s newfound humbleness and lack of douchebag characteristics is nothing but an act for cameras.

That is my thought as well. Definite Phil Mickelson vibe.

Somebody refresh my memory, is the national broadcast today with no commercials?  I am in a position for the first time to have the big screen on with the national broadcast while at the same time viewing masters.com on my PC.  Is this something worth doing, or is it going to drive me crazy because of trying to watch two screens at the same time?

Nice problem to have, of course.

It will have commercials, they do them clever ways. Yes, you should do dual screen.

Bryson is the same uber douche he’s always been, but now with the benefit of some PR coaching. A perfect YouTube personality.

This is all I was gonna say about Bryson - he found his audience on YouTube and that's what you see now.

Gotta get chores done early so I can park my ass on the patio and catch the part of the early-ass 11A baseball game, 5+ hours of Masters coverage, then softball starts at 5P.

LFG Texas Baseball, Scottie, and Texas Softball!

My usual for a marathon is ranch water and then end the day with some Eagle Rare or EH Taylor. My wife may want to mix in a daiquiri or margarita somewhere along the way.

Niemann just outdrove Spieth by about 30 yards on 14.  Spieth has a chance to post a special number.

Lol.

he has that chance every round, but ….Spiethcoaster like airmailing the green from 130.

This may not be a popular opinion, but 4 groups on featured group coverage is too much.

I watch featured groups because i like going around the course with a group and I dont mind the  time between shots. Its actually a more engaging viewing experience for me

with 4 groups it just becomes like the broadcast, where you are cutting from shot to shot, and lose the feeling of continuity from walking the course

Yeah I don’t disagree, but I think you’re in the minority there. And they decided to make it a mini broadcast

of course, we’re also in that window where the early tee time featured groups are finishing up and the late groups are just teeing off
