This guy Elijah Hawkins really thinks he's the main character. How many threes is he going to take and brick

He's 1 rebound shy of a triple double as the smallest guy on the court so I think I'll give him a pass for a few less than ideal shot selections.

If he goes out, Tech is fucked.  Just sayin.

They shoot a bazillion 3's.  I wish they did not, but that's who they fucking are.

The best shooter on the team did not play tonight.

I mean, to be fair, we always shoot a lot of 3s, but we also always run a lot of PnR and a bunch of different actions for Toppin and Williams that we just mostly didn't do at all tonight which was really confusing. I suspect they knew that UNCW is not great at covering the perimeter and just told our players to fire away when they have open shots and we kind of overdid it and didn't run our actual offense for most of the night.

One of the more boring first days of the tournament in recent memory. Maybe 2 entertaining games all day.

Seems like Friday 1st Rd games in recent years have produced more upsets??

Let chaos explode in tournament today! 😎

That dude was such a fucking beast in high school, then he came to Austin and did nothing but shoot 3s.  I was expecting Larry Bird and got Matt Bullard instead.

That 2000 UIL state tournament was a lot of fun for Texas fans… TJ, Boddicker, Klotz.

Is Baylor a team that can make a run through next weekend? I only watched them a couple times this season.

Robert Morris has a nice history. I have a couple friends who played there and they made it to the NCAA Tournament. It’s a small school out by the Pittsburgh airport, where John Calipari grew up and attended Moon H.S. Bernard Clark, Jr. is their football coach.
