I don’t understand the lack of basketball awareness for these guys late.

foul the big guy immediately after he gets the rebound.

instead they try to get an unlikely steal and it ends up in the hands of an 82% FT shooter guard who ices the game

coaching.  no one on the NC sideline was telling them to foul.

My wife and her sister coordinated for us to meet up in Napa/Sonoma tomorrow with a couple friend of the sister. Luckily, my wife is cool and won’t mind that I’ll be watching games on my phone all day. That being said… 😡

Much as I think Beard is a POS gotta say I'm pretty happy with this outcome.

Really need someone in the post-game press conference to lead with "Coach, you really seemed to choke the life out of them there at the end..."

If you really wanna feel nauseous, go read the ESPN puff piece about Beard’s redemption arc

Because no one has it harder than a white domestic abuser in America

Actually, I am partial to "Coach your defense seemed to have a strangle hold on the UNC offense in the first half, what changed in the second half?

Controversial take but I believe in giving a man a second chance when it comes to domestic abuse allegations. There are many things that can lead to that situation and not all of them are the man's fault. If they don't learn from it, then I have no sympathy. I don't think one should judge too harshly someone who has been accused once but hasn't been charged or found guilty.

I, too, thought Jonathan Majors was the lone bright spot of the MCU multiverse decline and was sad to see him fired for being an abuser, but not sure that this opinion will be well received.

Perhaps you could clarify that statement a bit.  There are a couple ways to take that.

Sad that he was rightly fired (note, not "cancelled" but justifiably fired) for being an abuser, because he's a very fine actor. Not sad as in it was an injustice.

Also, I was making a joke that the above was informing the other guys opinion of an abuser getting a second chance. I actually agree everyone should get a second chance in life, but acknowledge it's a pretty disgusting crime (domestic abuse).

Well, your guy was found guilty. I was talking about guys who were alleged to have abused but were not charged. Hope he learns from it and turns his life around but he doesn't have my sympathy as a convicted abuser.

Gotcha.

Another video was released of Majors yelling at his ex-girlfriend, describing himself as a "great man", comparing himself to Martin Luther King Jr. and Barack Obama, and demanding she act like Coretta Scott King and Michelle Obama.

Oh, he normal…

What does that even mean?

But I’m sure a guy with anger issues we’ll take the destruction of his employment and financial situation well.   His new wife better learn to rope-a-dope.

My take is that Beard’s woman started the physical confrontation and he was just ending it.

He didn’t beat her up, he restrained her (I recall).

Beard’s nose screams “I’m an ALCOHOLIC!!”

Beard’s energetic intensity in his 50s scream “I love AMPHETAMINES and/or COCAINE!!”

Having a violent girlfriend who had been seen pulling her players off a court by their ponytails and who would smack Beard’s glasses off of his face screams “My addict ass loves drama!!”

But I wouldn’t put Beard in the “domestic abuser” category before I would put his (ex?) fiancée in the “piece of shit domestic abuser” category.

Wish that Texas had paid for that woman to go away and gotten Beard some professional help for his alcohol/chemical dependencies.
