IDGAF what y’all think but it’s not close to my top burgers in ATX.

Because it's a fast food burger, doofus. But it's a goddamn awesome fast food burger. Pull your head out of your ass.

Why don't you just throw a Horns down, piss on the Alamo and burn a Texas flag while you're at it?

Your mom's burger wasn't dry last night.

You're all wrong. Ask someone named Stacey Leasca from something called Southern Living.   There seems like plenty of fruitcakes in this city now that would cry ugly.

Absolutely one of the best burgers I've ever eaten,” one person said. “Their fries make me want to ugly cry because they're so DARN GOOD,” another added. In fact, the list of praise for this place is so long you’d think these reviews were for a world-famous restaurant headed up by an equally famous chef. But, nope, these five-star reviews are all for the most beloved place in Austin: P. Terry’s.

For those in FW, growing up we hit Kincaides frequently. I haven’t eaten there in 20+ years, burger still legit?

its not bad. I go to the original location on Camp Bowie. love the fries but I like Fred's, Charley's and Rodeo Goat better.

Fred's in Fort Worth Serrano burger is pretty legit. Had a Hatch Chile Cheeseburger their on Sunday. very tasty.

Diablo Burger from Fred's is my hands down number 1.

Also do yourself a favor and get a Herd burger in Jacksboro. Actually get two and eat the other one for lunch the next day. Best reheated burger on Earth.

That 2nd burger has a snowball's chance in hell of making it to the next day. Be lucky to make it to the parking lot.

Been eating Herd’s since the early 80’s. Great burgers. Double meat double cheese for the win!  Always stopped there on the way to Austin from Wichita Falls.

This place is in Huntsville and kills it.  Been around since 59 and right across from the Walls it took on the prison flair for naming burgers.   I've been eating there since the late 80s and the place is legit.  Going to try the one in B/CS soon.

I love these old school places that have really good food.  Thanks for the suggestions on others.

I live 20 minutes from Jacksboro and Herd’s is great. That being said, I’ll still take Schroeder’s in Thorndale as my all time best burger. Fred’s in Fort Worth is a must as well.
Schroeder's is great. Have lunch there and then drive to Taylor for dinner at Ed's Place.

Fuck yes. I came to post this place. The old sparky kills it.

"Deep-fried beef patty topped with lettuce, pickles, Ranch and Texas-in-July sauce "

To me, Whataburger experience goes up tremendously when i remember to get the bun toasted.  They used to toast all the buns on the griddle and I grew up on them that way.

Tell them Texas Toast instead of the bun

It'll be a while before you get another one of these

That sucks. I haven't been there, but my Dad loves it. Apparently they used to have a sign that said "Beer, Andice".
