They're going to get another inning out of this kid, then trot out 2 mediocre bullpen guys who will somehow still manage to contain us, because while they have very average stuff, it'll be the first time our guys see them and we'll be swinging for the fences.  😀

Do you not realize who Texas is playing right now

An SEC team that plays Augie ball.  Great D, contact hitters, manufacture runs

Complete team, no matter how they got it.

I’m curious if the money starts flowing with schloss - it wasn’t bad from what I understood under Pierce, I think there were issues with how Pierce managed it, but still top 5 or so but LSU is #1 and supposedly it’s not even close.

I'm well aware.  I'm also well aware of what exactly I'm watching.

It’s not close and Johnson is maybe the best recruiting head coach in the country even if you put NIL aside.

Lethal combo.

I think one of the key things for LSU is Marucci is an NIL "cooperative" unto itself.

I know it’s not close that wasn’t my question my question is whether we will close the gap now that CDC and Texas has their guy.

He better start working that mouth piece if he wants to beat teams like this on a daily bases

I don't think CDC brought his good buddy here to not give all the support he can.

I think there will be a concerted NIL effort.

Texas got little to nothing in the portal and that can't happen in these times.

We’ve got to get to a place where we have better than a puncher’s chance against these guys.  And we have to win one this weekend.

What you think is irrelevant to me.  Played the game at the collegiate level.  I know the game and I know what I'm seeing.

It was obvious by Spencer's approach on the mound and their approach at the plate that they were about to start smacking him around.  Called it very clearly and they did it very clearly.

It was obvious by our approach at the plate vs. their starter that we weren't going to get shit off of him.

lsu baseball has deep 'resources'

One of the "great" things about Marucci is they themselves can sign a player direct to an NIL deal -- use Marucci gear -- without having to go through the motions of some kind of promo deal with some local or national outfit.

"Blake Money, Brayden Jobert, Devin Fontenot, Grant Taylor, Josh Pearson, Josh Stevenson, Riley Cooper from Louisiana State University, as well as Chance Huff from Georgia Tech and Taylor Young from Louisiana Tech have all been signed to support product testing and endorse the Marucci gear they use."

Makes ya kind of wonder if the LaTech and GT kids are potential LSU transfers down the line.
