I got an idea....lets just pitch all rookie pitchers....what could possibly go wrong

Tucker would have had it?
99% of RFs who have played more than a month there would have had it

Well this is fun. The downside is that we'll get no-hit tomorrow

I knew we scored too many runs yesterday.

When do we start developing the next shortstop?

We drafted one in the first round but he seems kinda shitty

Lance McCullers Jr. threw four scoreless innings and allowed one hit, one walk and struck out five batters tonight in a rehab start against Albuquerque. He threw 61 pitches, with his sinker averaging 91.4 mph. He got 13 swings and misses.

Great I'm going to the game tomorrow where we will not score a run and the pitcher will only throw 65 pitches through 7

Saw it coming, same team as last year.

i suspect they are going to send him down soon to get regular at bats

Dana:

Where are you guys at in terms of what’s best for Zach Dezenzo’s development as far as maybe sending him somewhere to play every day as opposed to being in Houston and rarely playing?
“At some point, there’s a chance we could end up sending him out, but right now we want to see if we can get him some at-bats at the big league level. I think [manager] Joe [Espada] is going to try to mix him in a little bit more because he has been sitting a little bit, and so we do realize he’s got to get some at-bats. He’s a young player, but we wanted to see if we could find him some opportunity here. If we can’t find him opportunity here, then we’ll send him back to get more at-bats.”

Crane offered the fan, who wrestled the foul ball away from Mike Trout, 6 tickets to the World Series if the Astros make it in.

Why? Why would you reward someone for doing something so stupid? Fans shouldn't interfere with the game, that shouldn't be a debate. That dude should be banned from future games for the season.

That fan shouldn’t have been moved. That was foul ball at him he had every right to, and he got the Astros an extra out- not that we did anything with it.

I agree generally but Trout made the catch first and he took the ball out of his glove. He should have first prevented Trout from catching it but he didn't and pulled a Yankee fan move Houston-style.

Not if it helps the home team and the fan has an equal right to the ball. If an outfielder is leaping over the wall to take an Altuve home run away and his glove is in your crotch, you absolutely should knock the shit out of that glove to keep him from making the catch.

Wesneski putting the "solo HRs won't beat you" thing to the test.  Pretty good game otherwise, 10 Ks.  93 pitches so we'll see if he comes out for the 7th.
