Blanco is not good. Trade him for a bag of balls. And no you don't pay a guy 20 mil to hang out in Sugarland

I have more of an issue with Yordan.  He doesn't get a pass.  He is the fucking man and is playing like a little bitch.

Yep.

For all the shithate this board throws at Judge (myself included), he has two 50+ hr seasons and one 60+ hr season while Yordan hasn't yet hit 40 HR in a single season and is currently on pace for 15 homers this season and -0.5 WAR.

Yordan sucks right now and needs to play less like a bitch.

Our batting coach will get it all figured out.

You think this is a joke but @Wulaw Horn is about to answer earnestly.

False.  I predicted Hunter brown cy young.
it is known that Whitley will have to settle for ROY this year before becoming cy young next year and mvp in 27.

Yordan needs help in the line up. We are not protecting him he is not getting good pitches he is getting himself out. None of these Jabrones are stepping up. The name of the game in spring was getting deep in the count forcing Pitchers to throw over the plate. We abandoned that approach. When we go up there looking like fools swing at all those in the dirt pitches and those splitters out of the zone by 7 inches.
Get runners on base and put a better hitter behind him. It was a good sign Pena finally got a hit off of that noodle arm last night.

Idk man. I’ve seen Yordan miss a ton of good pitches he would have absolutely destroyed in prior years

Thankfully these Yordan posts means we’re about to see two HRs /“keep talking shit about Yordan” posts tonight

Yeah, he's just flat out missing pitches he normally hammers.

False. This is the espn narrative bullshit.

He is getting pitches he just sucks right now or lets the good pitch go

Yordan’s swing decisions look similar in 2024 and 2025 on his savant page. However, he’s not barreling and squaring up as many pitches this year which leads me to believe he’s missing pitches that he should crush.

@Wulaw Horn

In your discussion about Dezenzo’s lack of ABs this year, you blame Espada for not getting him in the lineup more. I can certainly see the argument for playing him more at 1st - however, I think they have been trying to give Walker every opportunity to get things going which hasn’t happened.

Personally I put the blame for this situation on Dana. Once they decided that Cam was going to start in the majors, they should have sent Zach to AAA and kept someone like Gamel who can ride the bench for weeks at a time. There isn’t room on the roster for both of them to get at-bats.

Fair point. You could also, I’m pretty sure, play Dezenzo at 2B or DH on days Altuve played 2B and Yordan played in LF if you wanted to. He has enough positional flexibility (4 corners plus could probably handle occasionally 2B, plus DH) that you certainly didn’t need to go 14 days between starts which is where we were at.

There is plenty of ABs if you move Altuve back to 2B full time. The worst player on the team is Dubon, he should be the last person getting ABs at 2B.

So who won the snack game?
I’m going with Dubie, the Poppers grilled by the flame for the win.

Tuve doesn’t look like a burger guy. Those burgers are gonna be dry…too much flipping. Pena looks like he is trying to do a John Cena you don’t see my snack game hand gesture.

I’m hoping Dubon’s ABs going forward will be limited. Rogers had some pain/discomfort which cost him a few games.

I mean, he's certainly not helping in any way. He's been every bit as shitty as anyone would have reasonably expected him to be.  The problem is Yordan, Yainer and Walker weren't expected to be shitty and they are.  Difference is- those 3 will (should) stop being shitty, whereas Dubon probably wont.  But yeah- it's not his fault skipper dumb dumb gives him too many AB's.
