Gasparino added 15 pounds of muscle and still looks like a bean pole.

He could add a lot more.

Give him the Ken Hackemack weight-gain-diet.... eat everything in sight, plus drink 2 gallons of whole milk, every day.

Does the run rule change in 7 inning games?

Roger Wallace, on the radio call of the game, kept repeating they would both be 9-inning games tomorrow. Is he wrong?

I thought only the Sunday doubleheader games were both 7-inning games.

Yes, with the DH tomorrow, the Horns need to make game two a short one too. Let’s get out of town manana with brooms boarding the plane.

Hook’em!!!

All conference games in the SEC are subject to the run rule.

Make BOTH games short!

When they switched to a DH tomorrow, both games are scheduled for 9 innings. Run rule of course can change that.

Correct.

That's why I included, in the same post, "All conference games in the SEC are subject to the run rule."

I get that reference. Not a name you hear every day!

He was like 6' 9" and built like one of those Greek athletes' statue.

He was really cut.

I mentioned this before but I think it holds true - my wife pointed out that he'd probably look way less beanpolish except he has a tiny head. Honestly if you look at his arms and legs he's pretty jacked.

Announcer came mid sentence during the second homer

That 2nd Homer was so deep into the batters eye that we all involuntarily came

I think it switched when Augie took over?  In the 90's when I left Austin it was 1st base side and that is where the hecklers sat... When I came back in the early 2000's for my first home game in a while it was changed..

yeah the Wild Bunch was behind the visitors. if my memory is correct there was some incident with Pete Incaviglia. I know there was during batting practice with him and the Texas players where he challenged them to fights, but I want to say something happened with him and the Wild Bunch. could be wrong. i could be conflating the two things.
