So Texas or tcu will be in the FF.  Weird.

Texas would be first since 2004

TCU would be first ever

At least the Tenn fans will drive their double wides home now. But we won’t have the South Carolina fans on our side, I’m guessing.

Or maybe we will. They would like their chances against us in the Final Four over TCU

We shot 46.6% from the field, which feels like 60% the way we’ve played offense lately. And we hit 3 threes

And we won while losing the rebound battle

They’ll be gone home by then, I’m thinking.

Vic’s fourth Elite 8 at Texas (21, 22, 24, 25)

This has been the hump to get over. I think Jerritt Elliot once said the Elite 8 game is harder than the Final Four game

We usually win by taking 10-15 more shots than the other team thanks to a big turnover margin. Today we won taking fewer shots at a higher %. Might also explain the oreb stat. Fewer chances for us, 21 long 3pt misses for them.

That too. They’re so used to missing 3s they got what felt like every long rebound

And we won the TO battle

Shit, got called away for something I had to do and screwed up adding it to my YTTV library. Left late in the second quarter, but we won so oh well.

Any chance the full game will be available anywhere (talking to you LonghornNetwork.com since it was on ABC)?

Rick Barnes will be there to help them. He and his team can ride the same bus home with the ladies.

I bet it will be on YouTube in a day or so. They always upload games that are over.

Should be rewatchable on the ESPN app

OU's problem is that they faced a team of five individuals who all are quick, strong, good ball handlers, smart defenders and great rebounders for their size. When they don't steal the ball, they force tough shots, clean up the boards and push it downcourt. A meat grinder of a D few teams can do much with.

Oh, and if they don't score on the initial break, there's always Buechers up top. Good luck.

Not sure TCU has played anyone as physical as Texas. Whole diff game

TCU did get play South Carolina earlier in the year and that game was about as close as the title game against Georgia a few years back.

I have no clue how Texas and South Carolina compare in terms of physicality, but did read that Carolina forced 20 turnovers and did what they wanted on the offensive end so if Texas better than that it has been a nice year for Campbell and his team.

Looks right. Should be -12.5

The computers have settled around Texas 8-9 points, so 7.5 is about right.  Both Massey (9.5) and Warren Nolan (8 points) are basically in line with Vegas (7.5)
