I'm guessing Uconn takes it.  I don't see scar shooting like that against Uconn.

I hope it is USC v UConn. Will be an epic matchup between, undeniably, the 2 best programs.

Nah man I'm taking Rori back 100 times out of 100 if she wants to run it again. Need to upgrade elsewhere.

Agree to disagree, if she doesn’t develop a shot she’s a liability on the offense of end. Better put shooters every where around her

Great season ladies!!!!!

Great season, ladies. We ran into the better team tonight, but that doesn’t take away from what we’ve accomplished. Despite being down two starters for most of the season, Vic still led this group to the Final Four—an impressive feat. I truly believe he’s close to getting over the hump, and with growth, we can be even better next year.

Let’s build on our first Final Four appearance in years and use it as a foundation to improve.

As we look ahead, I believe Vic should continue seeking upgrades at every position—athletically and in terms of shooting—if it makes sense and strengthens the team, even if Rori returns.

That said, no one is above development. Booker still has room to grow, and Preston must add a reliable shot. Lee and Oladacare would benefit from improving their footwork and lateral quickness. Phelia’s return will be a boost, but we should continue pushing to elevate the roster wherever possible

I agree, Rori is a limited PG. She is too short to drive to the basket without getting blocked.

Feel like he’s going to have to adapt sooner or later cause teams like SCar and UConn are only getting better so he has to choose if he’s gonna adapt or be an elite 8/final 4 coach for ever

you are going to have to shoot 3's.  the refs allow all kinds of stuff down low and you can tie anyone up/hack without a foul.  that also causes bigs to miss a lot too, especially if they aren't "quick".

teams that are reasonably tall in the post and quick can easily eliminate that game unless the whistles come early and often.

Sad to see it end but UT had a great season!

Gotta beat the best to become the best. Hopefully Vic can keep building a roster capable of beating a team like South Carolina, damn they're good.

She was being asked to do too much on O. She has a decent mid range and I think could be a decent shooter from 3 going into next year.

Most importantly - the moment is never too big for her and she plays her ass of and is a leader.

CDC has hired a few coaches who have been knocking on the door for a while. They are high floor coaches but haven't won it all. I guess the hope is that if you keep knocking on the door, you're eventually going to break through.

So does Shay Hollie , still doesn’t dismiss the fact you can do better. I hate to think like that but that’s sports it happens. I do believe her injury derailed her progression but I’m all for her developing a shot beyond the 3. Just makes us that much better, but if not you have to look,  but like I said ion think Vic will do it, he’s loyal to Rori which I understand

I think it will start with Sark this fall knocking the door down!!!  ,

I don't know what Holle has to do with it - Rori is twice the player she is. It isn't easy to just go upgrade at point and tell your locker-room leader to take a hike. A lot easier to bring her back and upgrade around her.

All these high floor coaches seem to have a nemesis who they can't beat at the biggest stage, it seems. Georgia in football, Oklahoma in Softball, and South Carolina in WBB. Coach Miller probably falls in this bucket also. I agree Sark will probably break through this season or next with Arch.

Well like I stated earlier, agree to disagree.  A better comparison is Sam Elinger. We loved Sam and his toughness but he was definitely a liability, and so is Rori, we all love her but we can do better so why not. I guarantee you coaches like Saban, Kirby and hell even Sark will get better if possible. That’s what Great coaches do,

Preston is going to be a force to be reckoned with soon with some maturity.   We need some shooters at the other guards...consistent shooters behind the arch or just in general.   Hopefully a good portal pickup up or Lee gets more consistent.

Every time we're really, really good in a sport, there's some other school in the middle of a dynasty and/or we have a key player injured.  In all sports, long-term success depends a lot on timing.

We need to build our own dynasties. I think Sark and Schloss might get us there.

She's awesome and my favorite player on this team.  Major heart.  If she can boost her 3pt shooting and develop a teardrop she'd be unstoppable.  Especially the teardrop because she's fast enough off the dribble to get into the lane on almost anyone.

As an extremely casual observer of Texas WBB, Texas just had no one who could A) shoot a three B) drive hard to basket

SCar just looked faster and stronger than Texas did.

Cool to make Final Four and while loss stings congrats to Vic and the team on great year

Scar looked like the better defensive team last night. They also had more people who could break down our defense 1 on 1. They passed better than we did. They shot lights out. When they missed, especially down the stretch, they seemed to get offensive rebounds from them and make their second chance opportunities.

Our guys seemed weaker, slower, less athletic, and eventually, less physical. 3 of our 4 losses this season were to this same team. Not bad, good fuel going into the offseason.

Great season, ladies.
