There's still a long way to go, but this is just year one of the Schloss regime.

There were and still are some key injuries.

There have been a few other setbacks.

I can't wait to see what the future brings for this team, if this is what you get in year one.

This team has no quit in them. Taking the series from a #3 UGA is a massive step. First LSU and now Georgia. Bring the rest of the powers and let's fucking go.

Aggie is going to get run ruled by us. They're in deep, deep shit.

No clue but I guess he was excited he had a good half inning and he was spewing some shit. Their dugout all STFU after that dbl play in top of 9th.
Great series win, now get the brooms out

Not getting the SEC overrated talk. Conference has won 5 straight and dominates the top 10. We got a coach from the same conference and are just really good as well.

Oh I’m sorry. Did we step on your ill-conceived notion that your previous conference was the best at baseball?

I mean... they've been rolling, dude. And we haven't won a title in 20 years.

Things are trending well though.

Coach from the same conference ha. You mean that guy who went from little ol' TCU and quickly took a massively underachieving program to the top echelon of the SEC?

It's just baseball. It's not some mythical higher plane of being. The SEC these days is just baseball with good players. A coach is a coach. It is completely irrelevant that he came from the SEC.

So true.  And secsecsec football is just football.

He was pissed about a ball 3 call on a batter that he eventually walked.  After ball 4 he was walking behind the mound cussing the ump.  On the strikeout to end the inning he stared at the ump and then mouthed off some more walking off the mound.  Reflection of their coach, who's a douche.

Their pitchers have been doing that for the most part.

Holy shit! Aggies actually took one from Tennessee. They're back, baby!

Wake Forest absolutely pummeled FSU.

Yes we will be consensus #3 Monday in all polls.

SEC has been the best baseball and football conference for 20 years. Basketball it was Florida in the 2000s and Kentucky in the 2010s (and historically) and a bunch of also-rans. This year hoops came out of nowhere. Best hoops teams have historically been ACC and Big East / Big 12 to a lesser extent. I agree with your point in basketball but there’s no arguing it in baseball or football.

People don’t remember how good the Big 12 was in football and baseball pre 2006. It was the best conference in football from inception-‘05 and on par with SEC during that time and even at times into the late aughts or early 2010s with TCU, Tech and Texas making multiple CWS appearances. And in football, I always laughed at the notion we wouldn’t be SEC ready. The comparison in the waning SWC days is eerie, because we were more middling then, joining the best football conference in ‘96, as we were in 2024. Sark remade our roster just in time.

One we get some depth on the bench, shit's gonna get real.

I'm hoping we skip Arky and land at #2 just to piss off aggies even more.

If aggy wins today we should be #1. We won’t be but we should. We have clearly the best resume so far.

Not if they all get Covid right before the series.

We’re not moving up at all unless we complete the sweep tomorrow.  A 2-2 week with a loss to a crappy Texas State club is not worthy of moving up.  Should actually drop in that situation.

Schloss has tweaked his skills starting at TCU….made adjustments and learned how to manage assistants, pitchers and players…he improved tremendously by making aggy a national contender…and now he has really put all of this together….showing what a great coach he is….I’m impressed…..Augie and Gus would approve.

Our resume is about exactly what Arky and Tenn have put out thus far.

TxState is crap, but generally voters don't take the Tuesday games that seriously if you have a great weekend.

Aggie is absolutely smoking Tennessee right now 14-3.

Since aggies are taking the series I wonder how high we move up? Tennessee getting dominated in their own house.

#2 probably if we sweep

aggy is not about to roll over for us….it will be a very tough series….throw out the records….they have every incentive a team needs to pull out all the stops to spoil our year.

No, you said exactly what I quoted. We do not “clearly” have the best resume. When I posted that, A&M hadn’t beaten Tenn, and you know that. Cross Tenn off. Our resume is very similar to Arky.

Can you read?

And what top 5 team has pig beaten in a series?
