I’m just not sure he’s good enough to be a Saturday guy at this level.

Needed that from Schuess

Spencer and Riojas are the clear #1 and #2, and I'm not sure the order right now. Luke has seemed like a Sunday guy to me. Can you give you some solid innings, but you may need a short leash and live with a bullpen day.

He looked okay the last two weeks but I do think our Sunday guy is better but hey!

I’m not saying he’s not good. But he’s not a top 5 team level Saturday guy imo. He’s good enough against most teams but against the other elite comp he leaves a lot to be desired. At some point you have to be able to miss some bats and he just doesn’t do that well enough.

I thought it was bad when we didn’t have any starters that could even get into the 90s and now that we have a couple mid-90s guys, everyone else (LSU & UGA) has 97-98 mph guys.

So this guy has a no hitter?  Let’s change that!

My fault. Was making fun of aggy for getting no-hit last night.

There is literally nothing in this post that’s accurate

agree, we should have better.  he has little margin for error but he does have 7K's today.  this could be a 2-0 game but errors, walks, HBP are gonna hurt a guy like him.

I don’t really look at our rotation like that.

Riojas might be the second best pitcher on the team and is better than every Sunday starter in the league, but there is value in keeping him in a swing role with the option to start once a week.

When we get into a postseason format we won’t deploy guys like we do now.

Oh I don’t disagree with that at all. I certainly don’t want to change Ruger’s role. I think it’s just the reality that we lack a little bit in the Saturday starter dept.

that is what an ump squeezing you a bit will do.   dude has been getting a pretty big zone(especially up), which we finally got last inning.
