The Constitutional Crisis is here.

The civil war will be when the Regime starts disappearing citizens.  And that is as it was always going to be.  For the millionth time, it's why opting out of the Rule of Law is very, very bad, and shouldn't be done.

I'm not sure even that will do it.

Yeah, that dude, if he ain't already dead, soon will be.  There's absolutely zero chance they allow him to get free to start telling his story (see: the actual truth) about how he's not and never been associated with MS-13 or anyone else, how he got black bagged, what heinous shit they did to him while he was there, etc.

What needs to happen for the courts and state bar associations to begin to hold administration lawyers professionally accountable for their actions?

The President of the United States has openly stated he’s willing to send US citizens to a a camp in a foreign country that is operating as an extermination camp.

Where are the surly turnip supporters who support this? Show your face.

@Frank Drebin  I'm sure this aligns perfectly with your brand of Christianity.

This will be the thing that leads to massive protest, right?

So, today we went from "this was an administrative error" to "this guy was judged to be a member of MS-13, so he's in the right place."

Judged by whom?  Using what evidence?

If you're not livid about this and afraid of your government right now, you're an idiot.

I'm livid, but not necessarily afraid for myself for a whole host of problematic reasons.

Now what? I'm serious.

So, I'm going to assume the district court is going to make some punitive orders that are going to more squarely frame the issues of whether the President's foreign relations and national security powers permit him to violate the 5th and 14th Amendments.  The DC Circuit will affirm with some harsh words for Trump, and Roberts is going to have his long dark night of the soul, while Guido and Ruckus play the almond cookie game.

Punitive for whom?

In theory, they could do that and Roberts could kick it back down for more clarification about something basically until the heat death of the universe.

Potentially at least for Drew Ensign.

And, in analogous cases, namely criminal, due process violations result in dismissal of a case or setting aside a conviction, regardless of the guilt of the accused.

So, conceivably, she could enjoin the parties before her from deporting anyone else.  Or fashion some sort of similar remedy.

And who enforces that?

And if all that doesn’t work, they bring in THE COMFY CHAIR

There's also a potential finding of a violation of the 5th and 14th Amendments, which could be used in a subsequent Section 1983 lawsuit against Noem and Trump personally.

Ah Mr Mister this is all how it goes no big deal we are all overreacting the dems followed policy guy is somewhat upset finally.
I'd suggest arming yourself. I'd share but, unfortunately all my guns sank in the lake in a terrible canoe accident. My homie swore it was a great way to avoid inaccuracy and keep my stash viable. All my guns are gone. I say 4 more years 4 more years. Trump is the best president of my lifetime by far. Bestest evar!

The pastor of a church Barrack Obama attended said some shit and everybody lost their fucking mind... and we're here... i'm sad for my sons. They're going to become adults with this shit.
Didn't you both sides this shit and claim that that it didn't matter much
who was elected.
If so kinda fuck you. You may not be the problem but I kinda remember that you helped get us here by chugging propaganda that both parties are the same or Russia isn't an advesarie

I really appreciate you. You are super sharp and correct about so many things. But you are getting backed into an untenable corner where you are going to look foolish regarding your profession.
Trump is an Antichrist and we will reap the fruits of embracing him. Even if you don't believe in religion the results are the same.

Um, didn't this end with several thousand people massacred, a huge loss of recently gained reforms, and much tighter government control of pretty much everything?

I'm actually afraid we might see something very much like this here eventually.

I never said it would make any difference, I just posited what might well happen.

Guido and Ruckus playing the almond cookie game should have been your tip-off that maybe I wasn't entirely serious.  As realistic as that probably is.
