Does anyone still routinely watch Inside the NBA? I feel like all it has been for awhile now is Shaq and Chuck "arguing" with Shaq just repeating the same stupid word or phrase literally a dozen times. Tuned in last night and Shaq's making poop coming out while he's running jokes. What are we even doing anymore? It's not fun; it's just cringe.

Was listening to the Lakers radio play-by-play guy, John Ireland, who has been a sports radio host for decades in LA, and he said that in the playoffs the commercial breaks  are 3:45 instead of 2:00 and the halftimes are 17:50 v 15:00.  That helps older teams and shallower teams like the Lakers.  Each commercial break is like an extra timeout.

Interesting - but not sure if that helps or not. Younger guys can start/stop better than the olds. Yeah you get a breather but you don't want to sit around and get tight or lose the flow.

I would imagine it's extremely marginal either way.

Always thought Green got too much hate just based on his potential, numbers and role. I didn't have a problem with his contract.

He pretty clearly sets the ceiling for this team. That dunk was electric.

When you have to lean on a lazy fatty (according to Nico Harrison), we need those long breaks.

Is he the mega-boring sounding, but smart basketball guy?
Or is he the real, original-style play-by-play exciting-sounding kinda guy?

Just realized Jimmy left injured.

Ws are cooked if he's done for the series.

He fell ass-first to the floor from a good foot or so above the deck.

Jimmy has integrated better into SanFran than I figured he would.
I shoulda known better..

He’s good.  He was a sports radio guy well before a play by play guy.  And he’s a Bruin.

Why the fuck has Steph played 37 minutes so far? This was about as obvious of a "pull the plug if we don't make a serious run early in the third" game as it gets.

Doesn't really answer my question, so I'm not prepared to give you a thumbs up/down yet.  :)

He’s not super exciting, but very insightful.  And he’s had a partner for years,  they’re a good yin yang.
