Ja goes down hard.

Great shot making down the stretch by the Knicks. KAT is unguardable when he wants to be. Terrible decision making by the young Jalen Durham on the jump ball and inbound pass. Young fella gotta grow from this. Maybe I'm biased but I'm still taking Cade over Brunson if only because he's much more fun to watch.

Goddamn - just saw the Morant fall.  Like Bitadze on Porzingis last night, not intentional but reckless w/ a terrible outcome.  Morant's moreso than KP's, for sure.

I mean, Dort is involved in a lot of “not intentional but reckless” plays.

I'd still bet a decent amount of money that OKC is coming out of the West, but, if LAC get out of the first round, that's going to be one hell of a series. The defacto WCF.

My LAL will beat either IMO.

Same here.  Outscored, I think, 63-31, in the second half. Epic collapse

Not a huge surprise when their best player goes out and misses the entire 2nd half and you're playing the best team in the league

I mean if Pippen jr. just takes the wide open layup instead of passing back to Ja, there’s nothing to talk about. Dort was just reacting.

Memphis lost? Lolol I went to bed when they were up 20

Probably had something to do with the Ja injury. He got undercut by Dort while trying to finish at the rim and landed hard.  Never came back and the game flipped from that point on. He was on crutches later, so probably not gonna come back for game 4. OKC was getting destroyed up to that point, which was incredibly surprising.

I get it but, still, a pretty big collapse for a professional team.

I don't think Dort's play was malicious, he slipped while trying to recover, which caused him to bump Ja in mid-air. Like ocugolf said, if Pippen keeps the ball, it never happens, Memphis wins, the series is 2-1 OKC.  Or if Ja doesn't go for the highlight reel, he likely just goes around Dort and gets the layup (and probably an and-1 because Dort is flailing)

Also, Morant tried to literally jump over Dort.  He didn't and hit him in the head and shoulders instead and then fell on his hip.  He later came back to the bench on crutches so I'm assuming he's out for the series.  I guess he can get a head start on bangin' in the off season.

Agree about the Clippers being the second best team.  Their problem is OKC is a terrible matchup for them.  They can perfectly match them on that small ball lineup.  I'd say OKC in 5 or 6 at most.

Yes, this is Pippin Jr.’s fault. What an asshole, passing to the best dunker in the game. He basically injured himself with that pass.

I’m just saying if he makes the layup, Ja isn’t jumping. Dorts not reacting and there’s no injury. I fully get being up 27 or whatever and wanting to get the crowd to go ape with a Morant hammer. Just didn’t need to happen on a breakaway.

Tatum upgraded.  Curious to see who they actually run out there.  I'm overconfident as hell, so I'd love to see them sit all 3 and try to win this one.

Think I agree with that. Before the playoffs started I would have had the LAL/MIN winner right there with the DEN/LAC winner but I think I like both LAL and MIN a little bit less now.

Don't sleep on Houston or GS, though, assuming they can get Butler back.

Magic with a frisky 2nd half.

I'd say imagine if they had Suggs but then they probably wouldn't be the 7 seed.

Suggs and Wagner brother #2 both are incredible disruptors.
And Wagner #2 also a bit of a three point threat.

Cannot wait to see what this team does next year when three starters and the sixth man don't miss half the season!

Until Orlando fixes its shooting and scoring issues, they will not be a top 4 seed in the East.

We were on pace for just that until we lost our top three scorers for 50% of the season!
The #2 defense in the NBA will get you that far, at least.

You're not kidding otherwise - offense is a real issue.
It's perplexing because two of the guys who are terrific three point shooters have SUCKED all year long (KCP & Carter Jr).

Lakers religiously doubling Ant or at least shading towards him. He needs to make them pay and the TWolves in general need to run efficient O.

This series is there if they want it but Minny just seems a little off. Too many wasted possessions on O.

To the Lakers credit they've done a good job of taking Ant out of his game. He looks passive and indecisive.

Minny needs to find an ounce of mental toughness and not hand this series to the fucking Lakers.

That shit by Divencenzo was horrific.
