Because, as bad as Houston is, they're still a playoff roster. Golden State, without Butler, is not. Houston knew they had to win this one and didn't come particularly close.

Right, of course. Simply unfathomable that Jalen Green and Fred Vanvleet didn't know their way to a road playoff win.

Fair enough.

I'm not sure that there's a happier human being than Aaron Gordon getting to play next to Jokic with absolutely zero responsibilities other than dunking and corner threes.

OKC was going to win that series regardless, but, had Ja not gotten hurt, we've very likely got a 2-2 series. They're still the class of the conference, but I don't think they breeze through these next two rounds like I did a week ago

2-2 is being generous. I doubt G4 is as close if Memphis takes G3. There's also always been some Ewing-theory with Ja.

That's fair. A team up 3-0 trying to close out the series against a team without its best player...it's almost impossible to avoid taking their foot off the gas a little. If Memphis holds on to win Game 3, OKC probably comes out with more urgency in Game 4, and the outcome may have been less in doubt.

I pay attention to the Knicks a bit, not a ton but, they seem to have some serious dead weight on the bench. I know most teams do but, if Brunson is hurt from where does the production come? I really like watching Cunningham. He is fun.

the direction that his and zach lavine’s careers have gone since those dunk contests has been wild.

Guess the answer was KAT

Definitely a foul but KAT made the big shots and Cade missed two that were halfway down. I'm not going to get on JBB too much with the job he has done this year but maybe don't use your challenge on something so borderline 2 minutes into the first quarter?

If that was SGA or Tatum or Brunson shooting the refs would’ve blown the whistle before he even got the ball.
Yep that was about as textbook of a foul as they call consistently.

JBB has always been horrible with challenges and this series is just more evidence of what we already knew.

And, miraculously, he gets up and walks off on his own power.

These guys are as bad as soccer players with their forced and exaggerated reactions to what turn out to be very minor hurts.

I don't know that one looked bad.

But Ant is just as bad at the staying down shit as LeBron.

From ESPN.com:

"During live play, it was judged that Josh Hart made a legal defensive play," Guthrie said. "After postgame review, we observed that Hart makes body contact that is more than marginal to Hardaway Jr. and a foul should have been called."

Watching this game is so weird. The wolves are very good at every spot, and the Lakers only have one real starter-caliber player other than LBJ and Luka.

Wolves aren't very good at PG and Rudy obviously has his limitations.

Turns out Doncic is pretty good.  I wonder why Dallas traded him.

If they win though, he may drink a beer. Everyone knows that NBA Champions only drink wine in season.
