You think he's not going to exercise his $58.5M option one minute into Day 1 of the 2026 off-season after sitting out for a year?

Yeah and that contract is untradeable now.

Going to be a wild offseason with KD and Giannis both moving now.

I mean he already had a potentially career ending health situation a month ago now and now this.

Well, he's not going to retire, so...

I know everyone even tangentially associated with the Bucks remain supremely confident in Giannis's loyalty, but why waste the rest of your prime there? I want to see--and he probably does too deep down--how he looks playing next to another top 10-15 player for once in his career.

I think the backlash to asking out would be pretty minimal at this point, even in Milwaukee. He's certainly not the first superstar to insist on changes that ended up kneecapping the franchise (Middleton, Doc, Dame) and then demanded a trade anyway.

I'm not a big Giannis fan but wouldn't blame him at all and frankly think he should demand out.

It's also what the Bucks should do, anyway. They aren't winning shit with how bad that roster is and the zero draft capital they have.

Kind of a rare superstar trade that should be mutually beneficial.

They need to get together on a team with a lot of cap space and tradeable contracts... like the Brooklyn Nets!

Knecht would get eaten alive out there. I'm pretty sure Jaden McDaniels' grandfather was a saltwater crocodile.

But to your point - feels like they need to try something for a few mins to give those guys a breather.

No one blames JJ for not giving him 10 minutes a game.  But if he gets 4 minutes next game that would double his cumulative minutes from the entire series.

One of my absolute favorite parts about the playoffs is finding out really quickly which role players can and can't be out there with playoff intensity and pressure, running with/against the best athletes in the world, and withstanding the strategizing and matchup hunting that isn't present in the regular season.

He’s a liability for all four. The T-Wolves are the worst matchup in the field for the Lakers.

Throw The Towel GIF

Miami really bringing the, uh, heat tonight. Down, 35-8, in the first quarter.

Miami has made 3/16 from the field, 1/10 from 3 and don't really look like they want to be there tonight.

Bam, at -25, Wiggins -18, Mitchell -13, Herro -26

Per bucher Reddick didn’t bring in any bench players to prove a point.

The point? That they can go down in a series 3-1.

Bucher tends to suck. The Lakers--except the bench--played really well for 3 quarters. There was no "point" to be proven other than LA's role players, outside of Reaves and Rui, suck, which is well known.

JJ just tried to ride the hot hand a little too long and ended up doing something that has never been done--and for good reason--before, and it bit him in the ass.

Yeah, what point was he making? That he's not gonna lose the vacation house deposit he made 3 months ago when they were going nowhere?
