First one absolutely shouldn't have been a technical. That one probably should have been. So the refs gave him a flagrant instead of a tech, so he could stay in? Fair...I guess?

This game is going to take 4 hours.

Draymond should have picked up his second tech but the refs are too chickenshit to deal with him and the inevitable tantrum and crowd.

Reminds me of Bobby Knight vs LSU when he slammed the phone in the Final Four and should have been tossed but the refs were too scared of him.

@Underdog am I remembering that right?

Was just about to compliment Houston for forcing Golden State to play the Rockets' game--even mixing in some smart zone--but then Jalen Green pulled up for an early shot clock contested 3.

Watching the playoffs through MAX/Discovery is brutal. Just nothing but advertisements for reality shows starring the trashiest people on the planet. 1000 lbs Sisters. Sister Wives. The entire Paul family. Unreal that there's an audience for this shit.

Did I just see Curry airball a three, or did that last one get tipped? Went back and watched it, and he sure as fuck did. I dont recall the last time I saw that when it wasnt a last second heave.

Don't think I've ever seen a team play hack-a-Shaq on a player to get him off the court almost solely because he is unstoppable at getting offensive rebounds. Respect. Steven Adams is such a beast. Wish he could have played in a different era that could have better utilized his strength.

I mean as it is he's going to have a 15 year career in this era. Not many players can say that.

That's a horse shit call in that situation.

Seriously? It's a textbook foul. It wasn't incidental contact. It's a crafty move that players like Brooks use all the time to subtly push a shooter off balance. He got caught.

Well ackshually 🤓🤓

Jesus fucking christ we all saw he touched him. The point is that they aren't always calling that a foul and it's BS on a last second heave.

Any contact that purposely knocks a shooter off balance should be called if it's seen regardless of time and score. What are you even talking about?

Sure it should.

The existence of other missed calls means that refs should purposely miss calls in close games?

You know damn well you're being disingenuous. You know that refs set the tone by not calling that shit all game long and then suddenly it's a foul? With one minute left? Bullshit.

I'm not. It's an obvious foul (if seen). The stuff they let go earlier was primarily in the paint, as is the norm in the playoffs. You can't sneak your hand into the midsection of a jump shooter. Brooks knew what he was doing. Sometimes the refs miss it, sometimes they don't.

Now, if you want to argue that they thought Brooks made more contact than he did when they blew the whistle, and they only noticed the hand on Jimmy's midsection on review, you'd probably have a case.

It's just not a good call. Period. And this is after they chicken shitted out of giving Green his second tech.
