that’s as close as it gets. call on the floor must stand. closest final play in history?

Tens of thousandths of a second.

No one cares that he was fouled, Reggie. Jesus fucking Christ.

all time all time game winner. that’s history. unreal.

History is the game Jokic just had. Absurd numbers. Having to drag Jamal Murray's bum Canadian ass up and down the floor.

Whew.

Go Rockets.

Game 4 of the first round. Great play but hardly historical.

Two of the best defenses in the league

And, sans Butler, possibly the two worst offenses among contending teams in the playoffs.

GS looks old. And the Rockets are too young to put them away.

I'd believe in that more if Udokah (sp) wasn't at the helm.

He knows what it takes.

I think Houston takes this series. Just too many bodies and athleticism.

But this is a huge game assuming Jimmy comes back.

"The 80s called they want their basketball back"

The 80s weren't low-scoring you fucking dipshit.

It's amazing how low the bar is to call an NBA playoff game.

VanVleet is holding this team back in a major way. HOU needs to upgrade at the starting PG.

Shoutout whoever was telling us that the Rockets wouldn't be better with Stephon Castle 😂

I mean OKC is going to waste whoever comes out of this one.

dunking in a missed shot with 0.000001 seconds left to even a playoff series is definitely historical.

Back in the 80s, when the NBA was on CBS, the main color guy was Tommy Heinsohn.  Yes, former Celtic player and coach Tommy Heinsohn.

He was as homerific as it gets and wouldn't even try to hide it.  It was unlistenable (unless you were a Celtics fan who couldn't get enough of him and Stockton slobbering all over Bird & McHale).

If Houston loses this, it's fucking over. Warriors are running out 7pm 24 Hour Fitness lineups.

May be right but like I said I think OKC is going to smoke either of you.

Unless Curry is one of the 3 greatest players of all-time.

Golden State just needed Hield or Podz to match a washed Klay Thompson's output this year and, after acquiring Butler, they'd be pretty, pretty good. But apparently that was way too much to ask.

This is a bit, right? I like it if so.

Hahaha my bad I have the matchups wrong. I have too many sports in my brain this time of year.

Winner of this one vs. winner of Lakers/Minny could be a good one.

I'm not trying to be glib, but it's hard to even fathom how Houston lost this game. Got toasted by GPIII.

Jimmy Butler school of dark arts.  The role players on his teams seem to overperform at a significantly higher clip than expected in the playoffs.

I can't wait until Anthony Edwards fucks the condescending bullshit out of you. You've been acting like a dick all day in here.

Texas just took the baseball series today and is going to sweep your ass tomorrow, btw.

I really like this Houston team, as bad as they were tonight. I am even starting to like Dillon Brooks. They play hard, and physical.

I know a lot of people hate on the Dubs but just as a fan of the game, there is little more enjoyable to watch these days than Wardell going Wardell.

I hope Beef Stew can play tomorrow. I'd like that series to not be over in 5.

Warriors were still favored by 1.5 at tip. This is dumb.

Did you watch the first half? If Houston was half-competent, they should have been up by 15. The Warriors, without Jimmy Butler and Andrew Wiggins, don't even make the play-in. That was an embarrassing 2nd half for a playoff team.

Then why were they favored?

So why is it so hard to fathom that Golden State won?

Because, as bad as Houston is, they're still a playoff roster. Golden State, without Butler, is not. Houston knew they had to win this one and didn't come particularly close.
