Some guys are super sensitive about the map, lol. Not trying to derail the thread, but the amount of insults is amazing for such a dumb concept. 😄

Some guys have trouble grasping things right away and react by calling the thing they didn't understand dumb, lol. Not trying to contribute to the thread, but the amount of self-proclaimed superiority that is actually masking terror of the unknown is an ancient concept.

I personally believe that College Football Fans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don’t have maps and I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and a the Iraq everywhere like such as and I believe that they should our education over here in the US should help the US or should help South Africa or should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we can be able to build up our future.

We should have made a thread to remind the coaches about how much land was at stake in last week's game.

There’s still so much at stake. We can’t cede it all to this mofos in Stillwater

Because the teams Georgia beat didn’t own that land when Georgia beat them.

Season starts with all teams owning their own land (counties around your school, half way to the next school). Teams then capture the land owned by the teams they beat. When you lose; you lose all your land to the team that beat you.

Texas owned all of our opponents land until we lost to ou. OU took all our land when they beat us.  OU then lost the land to oSu, oSu lost it to UCF, UCF lost it to Tech, we gained it from Tech.

If you play a team with no land, you gain nothing. If oSu beats Texas (they won’t), all the Longhorn land becomes Cowboy land and we have nothing.

This post needs to be a pop up to explain how this works.

For everyone who says this is stupid, just imagine the map where all the blocky Ms & Ws, fancy As, squished Gs, and Hawkeye logos magically turn into Longhorns.

Y'all tell me that isn't worth fighting for.

We didn’t get it all back after beating tech. We got part of Ohio after beating Houston because Cincy’s first loss was to Pitt who next lost to WV who next lost to Houston who next lost to us and we haven’t since.

im guessing the jackrabbits got the northeast by beating South Dakota who beat North Dakota state who beat Maine in week 2.

my favorite thing about that map is the handful of Alaskan islands in the Bering strait that are closer to U of Hawaii than they are to Seattle. And that fucking Toledo owns it along with some of Pennsylvania, Arizona, Louisiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Kansas, Oklahoma after an eleven game win streak against nothing but garbage teams. Outstanding.

Nope…

Maine isn’t FBS so they weren’t on the map.

That territory belonged to…
Boston College who lost to
Northern Illinois who lost to
Southern Illinois who lost to
Youngstown State who lost to
South Dakota who lost to
South Dakota State who rules with an iron fist

Latest iteration:

  1. Watch all the yellow turn to crimson or vice versa.
  2. Steal all the purple land.
  3. Take all the yellow/crimson land.
  4. Profit.

Looking at this, maybe NCSU should have been #5

Sets up nicely for the CFP winner to be the dominant landowner. Sorry, the National Champion and the winner of the Pop-Tarts bowl.

Yep. Eastern Michigan is about 6 miles from the Big House it seems.

We got way more land because they had beaten Fresno State.

We could have consolidated the north-central-eastern Oklahoma / Arkansas corridor this weekend if stupid Tulsa hadn't lost to Arkansas State.

Week 4:

  • With Saturday's win, Texas snatched up Birmingham and the Mississippi Delta area. Since Mississippi State are landless peasants, Texas won't be able to acquire any new holdings this upcoming weekend.
  • Tech's win over Arizona State allowed for the largest land grab of the week taking most of Arizona (including Phoenix), eastern Montana/Wyoming, the western Dakotas, northern Georgia, and Starkville.
  • Because of Notre Dame's previous loss to Northern Illinois (ha! ha!), Buffalo acquired the Brazos Valley by defeating the Huskies. Illinois gained ownership over Far West Texas by defeating Corn.

In terms of territory up for grabs next week, its actually the Illinois- Penn State game that will end up with the largest merger of the week.

Georgia-Bama will obviously be a massive game, but not as much actual land up for grabs in that one.

a few other merger games, a lot of teams just need to hold serve this week.
