OMG. This is the hardest of the hardcore, the purest most concentrated aggy misery possible. This kind of post needs a warning label around it. Only the hardcore aggy misery addicts can truly handle this...

They are a very good team. They are very talented. They were preseason #1 for a reason.

But they are losers. I had zero doubt we would win this series. I fully expect tomorrow's game to be close, but for us to win.

Just like I said.

Other than the the unimportant Tuesday games, Kentucky and Louisville has this team given away a game?

I am always confident that we will take/regain the lead even when behind in late innings.  I know Ive started this before, but its been a long time since I've seen composure like this in a team.

Played in his golf tournament yesterday. RIP to a great Longhorn and what a weekend to honor him. Jeff hit one out in College Station that still hasn’t landed. Talked shit the entire way around the bases.

Pretty much. And really the Kentucky game was the only one that really mattered, and we all knew it was a fluke. Louisville was the first game of the season, we barely knew who we were at that point.

We have lost two 9 inning games. Tx st and LSU. The other 3 went extras- the two you mentioned and utsa.

I see where it’s A&M at 12th in the conference now with series at home vs LSU on the road @UGA and then Missouri.

Assuming they sweep Mizzou and don’t lose the midweek games, what are the odds they miss the playoffs altogether? Do they need to win both of those series or 1/2? Just not get swept?

Who is the young lady in the back? Is that Kayce Smith?

Probably the young virgin that Trev Alberts will have to place at the feet of Schloss.

Uh….what?

Ever heard of Mariano Rivera?

Guy could go every day.

You're very much the tough guy with somebody else's body. Share your experience from high school when you were the baddest of the badasses playing with a disocated shoulder and an epic case of jock rot, and you loved it.

Somebody has to get in. Aggy draws a crowd (many repulsive things do).  Beat Mizzou 3x and win 2 others and I’m sure the powers thst be will find a spot for them in ft worth. Not that they have to, but they can always point to Florida from last season to justify it.

They would 100% be asking if they were the greatest team of all time if they had had our season so far and were 19-2 in the SEC. Zero doubt.

Asking?

You’ll have to be more specific.

Not after 60+ pitches in 2 days. And I don’t think your really know how closers work especially in college baseball

Think they need 13 conference wins to guarantee a place. 12 might do it but I dunno about that given their overall record.

Yeah, going every day isn't really an option. IIRC, Volantis threw like 40 pitches on Friday and 10 yesterday.  The 40 pitch soreness/fatigue from Friday will be worse today that it was yesterday.  No reason to bring him in.

4 sec teams got in at 13-17 last year. 3 were 2 seeds

Where are the Aggies now?

Coach Gus after winning the Austin Regional in 1989. This never gets old, and I think about it after every win over Aggy in baseball.

This after the greatest Aggy team ever lost to LSU and Ben McDonald in the College Station Regional.

This never gets old, never heard Gus say anything like that before or after that game.

Texas knocked out McDonald and beat LSU in Omaha and reached the final game undefeated.

Beautiful series. Honestly better than blowing them away. Give them hope in all 3 games and step on their hearts.

The universe has spoken again.

They had guys on base in the 9th inning every game and choked it away all three times.

The masterpiece of agness

He is twenty years old.

He threw sixty (?) or so pitches total on Friday and Saturday.

Pretty sure he could have pitched an inning today but fortunately we did not need him.

All of this pitch count, pitch clock, eye contact between the hitter and pitcher is so fucking stupid.

Bunch of pussies.
