" I know how much you guys really like tomatoes"...

enjoy your garden to table restaurant that's gonna be open for only 6 weeks.

If you're talking about this one, I have no complaints since the wife is smoking hot:

She is indeed hot. Guys was so burnt out from the rat race of a 9-5 job that he decided to.....open a restaurant? Seems like a great way to dial back the stress. And buying small volume, artisan crafted olive oil tells me he has good business sense.

Charles Maund Toyota went from bad to worse.  I kinda liked Ara Celi in his ads and could barely tolerate old Randy Knaps.  At least you could laugh at him.  The new, younger girl who replaced him is almost as detestable as Emily Giangreco on KVUE sports.

My son REALLY NEEDS this prescription.
$67?  Tough break, kid. Rub some dirt on it.
Oh, with zero effort I can get it for $9?  I guess we can afford that.

should i be more annoyed about the shitty ass commercial or that the pharmacy just doesn't give me the $9 price up front?

Hi, I signed up specifically for this thread. I've had commercial hate for years. Thanks for giving me a place to put it.

Also I'm pretty sure that Mazda chick has done porn.

I'm no longer sure it's her, but google rilynn rae. She looks a little rougher than I remember, but consider her chosen profession.

Please, don't let me disrupt y'all's hate here.

Ok /no racist but State Farm brought back an old commercial and made Jake a black guy? Why?

Was wondering when someone would bring this up. Makes no sense.

none of it makes any sense. "There's no replacing the real Chris Paul; just like there's no replacing the real State Farm." huh? how does that idea even originate, much less end up being their best one?

So Sonic commercials are now a car full of hick chicks talking about nonsense in their hick accents? I grew up with enough of that annoying accent, stfu already. I guess hicks are easily manipulated into buying fried shit (granted I like Sonic food on the fast food scale). The accent is like nails on a chalkboard.

I saw a State Farm commercial where the black Jake was talking to the original white Jake. I think the joke is all their agents are Jake.

The one they play where i'm at is a car full of young, cool black kids.

The new Thomas J Henry commercial touting their number if employees and philanthropic interests.  This is real life.

But he really, really wants people to put their cellphones down, concentrate on their driving and avoid big money settlements ... I mean accidents

Maybe I'm just a jaded soul, but all these corporate "we're all in this together" spots really piss me off. They give zero fucks about anything but making money.

"We know times are tough. And we're here for you. And by 'here for you', we mean 'please keep buying our products'."

I don't know whose ad it is, but the one that runs a million times a day and plays that Avett Brothers song that I now hate.

Thanks.  I didn't want to be the first to say it.  Oh look.  A  handwritten note.  A kid in the window with a sign.  A nurse.

I don't really blame companies and ad agencies.  What else can one do at this time?  It's just that commercial breaks are turning into one long succession of these types of ads.  And, no, the world does not need a frosty.

Every commercial. Because every fucking one now is “in these tough times, we’re all in this together.” Oh gee I’m sure glad I’m in this with Lamb’s Tire and Auto.

Watched a series of 10 minute YouTube videos and literally (not figuratively, actually literally) every commercial was the Walmart CEO saying how much he respects and appreciates his "essential" workers during this tough time.  He made $23 million last year and most of the people in the video make $7.50/hr. without benefits. If they get the virus doing their "essential" jobs they are bankrupt. Walmart probably paid YouTube more for those ads than the annual wages of the people in the commercial combined. Fuck you asshole.

No CR but.....

Why do we allow drug manufacturers to advertise?

Every other fucking commercial seems to be some kind of drug that will cure what ails you but give you 10 or 15 side affects that might kill you or make you miserable and they always say "ask your doctor" who is probably getting a big pharma kick back every time he prescribes one of these. No wonder prescription drugs and health insurance prices are absolutely ridiculous.

LOL, there's no kickback.  Those are only for politicians.  We can't even get a fucking pen now without some rep 'educating' us for a certain amount of time.  All these commercials do is make life harder on doctors as every dumbass thinks they found the magic pill that will fix all that ails them...

Also, as someone pointed out above - fuck Nurx commercials.  The main chick is just gross and they have an obvious lesbo on the damn commercial.  Nothing wrong with lesbians, even the butch type, but wtf do they need birth control for?  Makes me ragey.

1959 my father graduated from medical school. The next weekend he married my mother, then they went to NYC and then D.C. for their honeymoon, paid for by two different drug companies. My dad said all he had to do was listen to some spiel for a couple of hours.

That's a good kickback!

I remember the diabeetus pharmacy companies flying our family practice doc to Hawaii when I was a kid.  Those were the days.

Pizza commercials saying they guarantee no one will touch your pizza once it's out of the oven. Ummm...thanks? This is now a thing since March 2020?
