The Michelob Ultra commercial I just saw yet again using Tom T. Hall's "I Like Beer."

Your commercial is a lie and a disservice to Tom T. Hall. If you liked beer, you would drink beer, not Ultra.

This issue may be specific to the channel I've been on for over a week now - NBCSN (Tour de France), but I think I've seen the Ginger Ale "Honey do we want to taste nirvana?" add at least 500 times this week.  Awful.

I actually like ABBA and think Seyfried is hot, but if I see another Mamma Mia ad I'm going to start punting puppies.

There's a line in one of those where the girl says something like, "I can't believe I got pregnant in the same place my mom did."

Um...same place every woman gets pregnant.

On the radio in H-town, various channels... for cashews or something or other

"clean up on aisle 6" is the first line on one of them.

" How are these nuts made?" is the first line on the other.

Then she engages in an allout debate within her head for 30 seconds over which kind she should buy.

We have a local commercial for a foreign automotive repair shop. A man testifies about the great job they do maintaining his 6 z3's and daily driver BMW. The owner appears and says, "Thanks Pastor Rick."

The Coke commercial featuring the Texas fan who has never heard of hummus.

Not only is it stupid and annoying at the superficial level, but closer consideration suggests that the man was expecting to hear of some other popular tailgate snack that begins with "hum" but he was utterly flummoxed by just the second syllable of the word due to the fact that he says "Hum-WHAT?"

It doesn't make any fucking sense.
