BoB wondering how he can fit 2 more 7 minute drives into 11 minutes of game time

They ain't gonna even stop the Colts unless they draw a fucking hold or get a sack.

All fucking day good defensive line is neutralized if the officials "miss" the holding on the O line.

Good strategy by the Colts, pick plays and hold until they call it.

Clowney is dumber than a box of rocks

Yeah but the Texans are at least getting more out of him than they did with Mario Williams. Who they picked over VY, the reason why I have rooted against the Texans until they picked up Desean Watson.

You gave it a shot, kid.

In all seriousness though, it's absolutely fucking unacceptable how much we had to ask him to do this season.

Deshaun wasn't great today but he's the only reason this team even had home field advantage and we pissed it away. The secondary was abysmal, the playcalling was suspect, there were dropped balls...

We need to sort this roster out so he isn't getting sacked 60 fucking times next year. You absolutely, cannot waste a generational talent like this.

Let's reload and get some ass in 2019.

Peace, y'all. It's been a hair-pulling, euphoric season and I wish it didn't end this way but it was fun.

Cal needs to clean the organization from top to bottom. Something tells me he doesn't have the nuts to do it. Going to be interesting to see how Gaine approaches this offseason with 5 holes on the OL and 3-4 in the secondary. His 1st draft wasn't awful, but he needs to cut a lot of veteran fat. Blue, Joseph, Jackson, Matheu, and Griffin would be a good start.

Remember, this guy's new contract extends through 2022.  Just think, "one and done" for the next four years.

Naw he will get Watson injured badly with all that scrambling and designed QB runs.

Sucks when a good guy gets drafted to a shit franchise. Watt, Hopkins, and Watsons are all screwed.

Cowboys fans are so weird about the Texans... I do not get it.

What do you mean?

You think a hall of fame great like Andre Johnson deserved the career he had? Constantly playing with horrible QB and offensive line play. He never was a diva, always was a great guy to the community, and never complained. But he should've, because he could have been an all time great if he would've had a competent team even for a few years.

The franchise is shit. I don't know if the owner's son and no more Rick Smith is going to fix it, but it's looking like shit for the foreseeable future to me. Trying to be the Patriots lite by taking their trash didn't work.

Texans' DeAndre Hopkins crowned the 2018 PFF Offensive Player of the Year

BY MICHAEL RENNER • HOUSTON TEXANS  DEANDRE HOPKINS • JAN 21, 2019

For the first four years of his career, DeAndre Hopkins was one of the league’s biggest what if’s. He averaged over 1,000 yards a year with a who’s who of replacement level QB’s. We were only left to guess the numbers he’d put up with a real starting quarterback, but everyone was in agreement that they’d be off the charts.

We got a taste a year ago. In the six games started by Deshaun Watson, Hopkins averaged 91.8 yards per game and scored six touchdowns. With Watson back this season, though, Hopkins lived up to the hype and that’s why he’s the 2018 recipient of the PFF Offensive Player of the Year.

There are two distinct traits Hopkins possesses that he is unquestionably the best in the NFL at. The first is obviously his hands. Hopkins didn’t drop a single ball all season. He’s not the first wide receiver to accomplish such a feat, but he is the first to do so on more than 60 catches. And Hopkins almost doubled it. His 115 catches were the third-most in the NFL this season and it’s not like he was racking up easy targets on screens. His 12.2 average depth of target is a healthy figure for a wide receiver and 4.3 yards farther than receptions leader Michael Thomas.

The other trait is Hopkins’ contested catch ability. His body control, strength and 10-plus inch hands make him deadly in 50-50 situations. Hopkins is one of the few receivers in the entire NFL that tips those in favor of the offense. He hauled in 25 of his 43 contested targets on the season – the most in the NFL. That total was four more than any other receiver in the NFL, and only 19 receivers all season even had double digit contested receptions.

While he’s elite in both those regards, there’s really nothing Hopkins can’t do as a wide receiver. He ranked top-10 in touchdowns (11), deep receiving yards (387) and broken tackles (12). Hopkins was everything and then some in his first full season with Watson at the helm. Still only 26 years old, Hopkins is going to be putting up big numbers for a long time in Houston.
