"Beautiful loser type"

That is perfect.

#1. I never thought of her in that way but after hearing Judge mention that (obviously that is exactly correct)

#2. We all know girls that are way too hot to be with or doing something and it's because they are the beautiful loser type.

Holy shit, this movie turns 20 years old this Winter.  Wow.  Great video, thanks for posting.

No fucking way it’s 20 years old. That means I was 16 when it came out. How could I love it so much when I had no idea of office work? It’s somehow brilliant even for those who can’t directly relate. It’s an all time favorite for me.

Never caught that before.

Is that the line? I always thought it was "...and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry..."

Love that line.  Stephen Root, man.  He's so great.

so basically you just sat on your ass and did absolutely nothing all day?   Did you recently get a million dollars or something?

We are the same age. Although I didn't hear about Office Space until 2000 or so. And I didn't watch it until '02 or '03. It's in my top 5 for sure.

No, but if he had, he'da done two chicks at the same time, man.

My sister saw this when it came out,  she was like, "Oh my God- they made a movie about you. It's insane."

Pretty sure she meant Peter...could be Milton though now that I think about it.

Went to an Alamo Drafthouse showing at the old Colorado Street location one night. Midway through the movie, they brought a printer out, and let you take swings at it with a baseball bat.

It’s crazy. I remember going over to my brother’s house when I was a freshman at Texas and watching it for the first time. Can’t believe it was that long ago.

Damn I forgot that there used to be an Alamo on Colorado. This town is changing too fast, man

Don't jump to conclusions.

They would do that for corporate events. My firm rented out the Drafthouse one afternoon and our staff got to unload on a printer.  Some of the older secretaries got a little red-faced at the "O face" line.

My dad saw it in theater and wouldn't shut up about it, eventually buying the VHS. One summer day a yr or two later my brother and I played it and my dad's movie rep increased significantly.

You don't need a million dollars to do nothing, man. Take a look at my cousin: he's broke, don't do shit.

I saw an interview with Judge awhile back where he was saying that during filming, he didn’t know if Gary Cole thought the Lumbergh character would be funny. Then they were filming the fantasy scene where he’s fucking Anniston. They were about to start shooting and Judge handed Cole his coffee mug, and Cole just lost it. “Of course, he’s got his coffee mug”.

A neighbor on my street is a background extra in the office scenes.  It's weird that she looks older in that movie than she does now (45 today versus 25 then).  /You don't want pics.

Lumbergh fucked her.

I also thought he said “merry.” Even funnier knowing the actual line.

An absolute classic.  Love the origin of "assclown".  At the time, it was pretty much an unknown phrase -- now, it's just part of the lexicon.

It's amazing how many small but mighty films have close ties to Austin and Austin directors.

Tom Herman is a no-talent ass clown.

Why should I change my name? He's the one who sucks.

We did this like a month ago at Lakeline as a fundraiser for the Humane Society.

Yeah but how often do you quote Idiocracy, Upgrayedd?

Not enough to compete with those around me.

I don't think they are trying though.

love that it was filmed mostly in Austin.

used to work at JJ Pickle campus - across from exterior of opening scene -  and every day i drove there it reminded me of the movie

I met him once.  I was working at Circuit City at the time, and he drew a Beavis head for me.  They filmed a scene with them picking out a big screen.

I was a big fan of Ghetto Boys before then, they became bigger after that.

I used "the O face" line and multiple others in the past.
