I'm tired and it's late, but I wanted to make a photo tribute for people to pass around on facebook for your relatives who only knew him from Smokey and the Bandit.

If I misspelled anything, let me know, but I think I got everything right.

Burt was a natural speaker--gifted with great humor & very generous with his time--and I'm trying to remember where I saw the clip referenced earlier about the infamous rape scene in Deliverance. Anyone have some good compilations of his 'behind the scenes' handy? 

I wish that Robert Osborne (RIP) would have recorded an episode of The Essentials with Burt. Burt was more of a film historian than one might expect.

Ummm ...... yeah... I think you covered all his greats, you did forget An officer and a Gentleman though.

Had it's moments?    That's one of the most underrated movies ever.
