Everyone talks about our S&C program, but our players look way smaller than guys at ou, uga, bama, clemson, osu.  How the fuck are these guys so much bigger?

Gary Danielson is the stupidest motherfucker alive. Listening to him is like watching a football game with the brother in law that doesn’t know shit about football.

Do we have a single player that could even make the team at UGA?

Players, probably a good handful. Our coaches couldn’t hold UGA’s coaches jocks though.

South Carolina aggy dying to be recognized puts Carolina on the jersey and the helmet. You're not Carolina and you're not USC.

Welp, actually, they sort of are Carolina.  The settlements in what came to be known as Albermarle County in the northeast of today's North Carolina predate the Royal Chartering of The Province of Carolina in 1663 (slightly revised in 1665).  However, the Province/Colony was governed for it's first 42 years from the capital founded at Charles Town (now Charleston) in 1670.  The 1665 revision granted the Province all land from the Atlantic to the Pacific between 36 degrees 30 minutes north (~ location of Kitty Hawk on the outer banks) and 29 degrees north (just south of Daytona Beach and south of the Spanish settlement at St. Augustine).  The Province of Carolina was the antecedent to more US States than the Northwest Ordinance, the Louisiana Purchase or the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.  Within 10 years of it's founding, by 1680, Charles Town was the 5th largest city in North America.  The 1669 Fundamental Constitutions of Carolina created two equal Provinces (Albermarle in the north and Clarendon in the south) which together comprised the Carolina Province.  For 22 years until 1691 both Albermarle and Clarendon were governed from Charles Town.  In 1691 a Deputy Governor was appointed for Albermarle.  After another period of 22 years in 1712 the Province of Carolina was replaced when Albermarle and Clarendon were formally separated and the Colonies of North Carolina and South Carolina were created.  In a footnote to this historic blipvert, you may recall the role of the South Carolinians in Philadelphia in 1776.  South Carolina was the old money of the south, and it's not a surprise that 84 years later they were the first to secede, triggering the start of the war when the guns of Charleston opened on Fort Sumter, 12 April 1861.

Carolina is Southiest Southern State, and their move to the Southiest Eastern Conference in 1991 made total sense..  they won the SEC east in 2010, but they have never done anything significant.  they won the acc twice.  aggy have more trophies than the cocks.  no wonder they paired them.

Hey don't be bringing in real life to this debate.

This is Carolina. They reside in Chapel Hill, and they cheat and still suck.

This is USC. They reside in Los Angeles.

I have never once heard anyone refer to South Carolina as USC when discussing football. I get that they are technically but when you say USC, its the Trojans, not the Cocks.

Generally agree but as somebody born in South C and spent first 4 years of my life there before moving to Texas whenever you are back that way (GA, SC etc) when they say USC they mean South Carolina.  It was confusing to me (obviously was oblivious from 0-4) the first time I went back because yes everywhere else USC is USC....

Jesus, a bunch of freshmen and sophomore beasts on the Georgia o-line, just toying with So Carolina.

I pray that we'll be at least 1/2 that physical at some point in the near future.  It's just a different level of football.
