The IWI Negev light machine gun. Bringing the joy of 1000 rounds per minute to light infantry. Because fun:

[Don't actually own one. Don't actually want to. But man, I'd love to take one out on a range one day.]

That ammo bill though.

If you're worried about the ammo bill, the gun itself is probably out of your price range...

Gun talk on Beto thread not going away.

Well.. for all the hub bub, Beto still hasn't actually taken away anyone's rights, unlike Ronald Reagan.

Any more stories about these suburban soccer moms who are silent  beto supporters?

They are having intensive scissoring sessions while their low T khaki wearing suburban husbands are out playing golf and talking shop.

anybody comparing EV's in TX to those in CA is a fucking idiot.

As I've demonstrated, CA doesn't "really" have EV.

There are very, very few EV polling places.  San Bernardino, the largest county in the country, has only 6 polling places.

This Beto supporter owns a shotgun for ducks, a shotgun for dove/quail, a deer rifle and a pistol for home protection. Can't imagine ever needing to own any other type of gun.
some of the same + WWI trophy.

I've already talked about my wife on this thread. I will mention that there are at least 3, and likely as many as 5-6 lawyers in my lily white Midland law firm who appear to be Beto supporters. I strongly suspect that there's never been more than 1 or 2 Democratic voters in our ranks at any time in the past. Very anecdotal, but throw that in with my apolitical Republicanish wife voting Beto and my Republican sister who never votes in midterms and is voting for Beto and there is certainly an interesting phenomenon among the people who I know. Of course, my parents and in-laws are all in for Trump/Cruz, although their support for Republicans is nothing new even if they are more fervent than ever now.

But in the quiet and lonely confines of the voting booth will they pull the “D” lever for Beto or the straight ticket “R” lever.   Most Rs in Texas probably will pull the straight “R” lever.

Hard Fact or soft reality.

Based on my conversations with them, and their disgust expressed about current Republican behaviors, I actually think they'll pull the D lever. The fact that these conversations are even happening is fairly revolutionary IMO.

I understand and they are your friends but talking big and actually pulling the lever can be two VERY different things.

I have a few Facebook acquaintances who seem quite excited to vote for Cruz. It’s very much a “fuck you liberals” type vibe that I’m getting from them, rather than something personal about Cruz.

Yeah, it's all negative messaging: 1) He's a socialist fake Mexican DWI driver/burglar who wants to take your guns away or 2) KEEP TEXAS RED!

Nothing of substance that shows support for their guy or team. Just fear mongering.

This is how we know you are a troll.

No troll, just a proud Cruz voter. I will admit that the image of spittle covered computer screens and furious pounding of keyboards in anger can be amusing, but it’s not my primary goal.

Must not take much to make you proud, given Cruz's legislative accomplishments.

Please, forgive me and I mean no actual physical harm. But every time I read your posts, I really want to kick the shit out your avatar.

I just can't get that character and his voice out of my head!

Holy shit you found a way to insult Nixon -whom I hate, and also allow me to think “let’s not go that far on Tricky Dick” at the same fucking time.

Trump is a moronic, sociopathic criminal.  Nixon was not a moron.  Your comparison is way off.

Isn’t this redundant? I seem to recall Nixon being plenty fat and fleshy.

the one thing i wish beto didn't do is wear the hat of whatever college/professional sports team of whichever city he is currently in while campaigning.  it just comes across as pandering/a total politician move.

I don't mind it. I like to go to sporting events of every city I visit for work and randomly end up with other team gear. It's fun to immerse in the culture for a night. If I wind up with an Atlanta Hawk shirt to work out in or a San Jose Sharks hat, for example, it's just functional stuff to wear.

Yeah, but think of the hat collection his presidential library is going to have!
