Yeah but things will get interesting with upcoming trials regarding foreign influence on our political system. It may shine the light on several congressmen and their dealings. So, who knows. Another thing is, nobody saw candidates like Obama or Beto coming and another is likely in the works or was inspired. Hopefully.

It’s hard to see people coming who have these kinds of track records.  People blindly vote for these types just as much as they vote the letter. People swear change is upon us but it’s based on nothing more than emotion.

I was switching back and forth between Fox News panel and NBC panel when they were on, they didn’t  even try to hide bias tonight one bit lolz.    The guy on the left on nbc with the goatee wins the award for worst out of all of them by far....   He says we and they, gets visible upset and excited when results come in, its all pretty funny to watch.

I guess you didn't see SANTORUM on the CNN panel or some of the others I didn't recognize. They all have extremely partisan talking heads.

Perhaps you’ve missed the news. The shooting has already started. Tree of Life Synagogue our front shoulda told ya.

Well, you would know, wouldn't ya?  You done your research on how to kill that troll from this board yet?  Or have you been too busy posting to get around to it?

You would make a good commissar to spur the troops on as they charge the enemy lines, Brisket.  Get yourself a fancy hat and some fake medals and you'd be all set.

No, because you vote for a particular asshole named Ted Cruz.

And you post like a stupid twat.

You really make this even more sweet. You actually think your opinion is important to a candidate who doesn’t give a flying fuck about you. Enjoy your moral victory while I wash my hands of this evening.

Don’t have a particular attitude towards California. I was simply stating that California, like Austin, are very liberal.

And guess what: Wilco and Hays went blue. Tarrant is next, followed by Collin.

Lufkin, Lubbock, and Abilene are very Conservative like Oklahoma and Arkansas.

I know whose company I'd prefer to be in.

For an hour or two Texas was a focus of national politics. That’s a huge win. Let’s do it again, put Texas in play next time. Vote, donate, volunteer, always and for every election from here on out. Be an activist, Texas will continue to shift. Top republicans for state wide office won by 5 or less with the exception of Abbott who ran against a sheriff that lost her gun. Keep it up guys and gals - that’s a big effing deal.

It’s not football it’s demographics. Talk shit I don’t care. What used to be a 15 point margin was under 10 in 2016 and now 5 or less in 2018. This isn’t the end of the game, it’s the end of a series or a quarter. And frankly I don’t care which initial wins so long as the demographics shift enough to make it competitive and to force the republicans to give up shitstain social positions. That’s going to happen.

California would be the 5th largest economy in the world

I really don't understand it because California and Texas are actually a lot alike: powerful, diverse economies, large immigrant populations, and diverse populations spread across both urban and rural areas.

You must not have read the last 10 pages of this thread

Why would I? It's just 10 pages of sack and other fuckboys like yourself jizzing themselves over what was a likely victory in the first place lol. If I wanted sycophancy like that I'd just go to texags.

Drinking hard tonight? Aggys are the ones that always cry foul when they lose and claim moral victories. Check the mirror, homie

Its going to be interesting looking at the number of Democrats that took jobs from incumbent Republicans in Texas, partly due to Beto.

Jane Hughson beat the incumbent to become the San Marcos mayor. And Ruben Becerra, owner of Gil's, beat the incumbent to become Hays County Judge. I think both of those are at least partially due to increased student voting due to Beto.

Now that the election is over, a lot of posters on both sides should take a break from politics for awhile. Way too much hate around here.

Nah. Not enough.

There’s plenty of hate out there. Maybe you missed the entire GOP electoral strategy, or the GOP fanboys gleefully talking about how they want to go to the border and kill Hondurans (I’ve heard it, first hand). Open racism in the campaigns and calls. There’s a metric shit-ton of hate out there.

And you think that the best option is to just let that be? Just say “oh well, that’s the way it is?” Fuck that.
