Well if there's anybody who is an expert on corrupt politicians, it's Mitch McConnell but, both constitutionally and semantically, his statement made no sense.

Wait? Are you implying Mitch McConnell cares about corruption?

He and his wife make the Clintons look tame.

Support for discrimination against gay customers among Republicans more than doubled from 21 percent to 47 percent. Support for discrimination against atheists went from 19 percent to 37 percent. Support for discrimination against Jews went from 16 percent to 24 percent.

That is incredibly racist. You remind me of this dipshit

It's heartwarming to know you stand squarely against bigoted stereotypes made by the inconsequential children of geriatric rock stars. Does that stance also extend to the president of the United States?

Mexicans: "bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists."

Africans/Haitians: "Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?"

Central Americans: "Infest our Country.”

Judge of Mexican descent: "But we're building a wall. He's a Mexican. We're building a wall between here and Mexico." "In my opinion -- he is -- his Mexican -- Mexican heritage. And he's very proud of it."

Commentary on Muslim Gold Star family: "I'd like to hear his wife say something."

Neo-Nazis: "Fine people on both sides."

all this tells me is that the pool of self-identifying republicans is shrinking.

Oh Duncan.  Now we know why the wife flipped.

Prosecutors say Rep. Duncan Hunter used campaign funds to pay for affairs with lobbyists and aides

I’ve never seen Zavala complain about any of that.  But he did find a clip of Kelly Osbourne being stupid.  What did we elect her to?  I forget.

Scum.  Every Rep Senator should be voted out.  They're traitors.

There should be no ideological basis along the liberal-->conservative spectrum for their stonewalling legislation to safeguard the security of the electoral system. This decision is based solely on retaining power, regardless the will of the people, which should focus our attention on a different plane for understanding their motives: libertarian-->authoritarian.

Here's the survey. See if you can find the methodology. Kinda busy here. Will get to it later.

Edit: I suppose it is the same way you hear that they are a Democrat or a Republican, you ask them.

Are you an evangelical Christian?

Are you Muslim?

Pretty standard BS

I don't doubt it but I think most people wouldn't fill out surveys that include their religious preferences and it's not going to come out in casual conversation with a cashier. Plus, I would think people would be fine with currency since it states In God We Trust.  Pretty sure the religious men folk would have no problem giving to or taking money from a stripper.

Asking about religion on a survey is one of the standard demographic questions. The atheist has the advantage of not having an obvious outward sign of their belief system. The Sikh does. The Hasidic does. Flaming drag queen would really appreciate it if you noticed them. If you were the dad of a kid in the local ISD and you were also in a court case about prayer in school do you think that you would be known in a small rural community?

How do you think Pew gets their data on religion?
