These are serious allegations and she needs to name names. Now perhaps and most likely these congressmen were unaware of the next days plans, but we need to hear their side. Of course, it would also be nice if they would step forward on their own.

little known fact: LBJ had a side hustle of giving tours of the Texas Book Depository for a couple of days in Nov ‘63. Who knew what would happen next.

Introducing QAnon into your fellow GOP representatives text messages in order to...prove something.

https://www.axios.com/captiol-riots-house-republicans-nanc-3a4bfe84-6ea9-4f92-9dd3-5bd5f4fb0de1.html

Quote

The freshmen class of House Republicans has been fighting since last Wednesday's Capitol assault, creating a clear split just over a week after being sworn in.

What we’re hearing: On Tuesday, Reps. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) got in a tart back and forth on a text chain with all freshmen GOP members, according to sources who've read the text messages.

The conversation started when Greene — a fierce defender of President Trump and former QAnon backer — sent a National Pulse article to the chain claiming the president’s approval numbers had increased in December.

Quote

Mace, who came out early against Republicans who planned to reject the election results, fired back: “I’m disgusted by what you and other Q-conspiracy theorists did last week in the chamber after all of the violence.”

Greene said she condemned it and told Mace “don’t believe the fake news." She also brought up how some Black Lives Matter protests turned violent.

Mace answered: “Literal QAnon lady trying to deny she’s a QAnon lady.”

According to the sources who've read the messages, Rep. Burgess Owens (R-Utah) chimed in thanking Greene for the support of the president. Rep. Peter Meijer (R-Mich.) pinged his support of Mace.

Quote

The divisions we’re seeing in the Republican Party as a whole are rippling through every layer of Congress, and making enemies within the new freshmen class.

There’s normally a sense of camaraderie among new members when they take office, as they lean on each other while learning to navigate Congress. The usual grace period has evaporated as they're pressured to take a stance on Trump during the impeachment vote Wednesday.

What they're saying: "Who is the freshman rep that is betraying everyone's trust and leaking our group chat to the press?" Greene said to Axios.

A spokesperson for Mace didn't respond to a request for comment.

Wow, some House Republicans aren't pleased with other Members who invited insane conspiracy rioters to murder their college-aged staffers.

Did not see this coming, Mitch.

Okay two teams---over here I want the House Members that think there was a silent conspiracy of several thousands election officials, federal judges, and secretaries of state to keep Trump from rightfully winning the election.  And as such, encouraged thousands of sedition terrorists to storm our Capitol to "Stop the Steal" during a session that we all know from Freshman Orientation was just a symbolic formality.  All to prevent pizza-eating lizards from raping children.  Got it?  Okay...then over here I want the House Members who are still fielding phone calls from crying parents who want to know if their 20-year old daughter who interns in your office is going to be brutally murdered on live television next week during the Inauguration.  Okay, let's move people.

Yep. They’re full of shit. This is the party that came up with the slogan, “Fuck your feelings.” Fuck them. The truth is they don’t want unity, they just don’t want to be held accountable. The Dems could do everything to appease them, forget every vile, corrupt, criminal, and treasonous thing they’ve done over the past four years, and “move on” like none of it ever happened. They would still demonize the Democrats and call them Communists and radical leftists and pedophile cannibals possessed by demons. They’re going to take your guns and turn your kids gay and enforce Sharia law.

Don’t believe a word they say.

Hey Republicans, do you really want unity? If so, start by doing this:

  • Admit the Clintons never killed anyone
  • Admit the Clintons aren’t part of a pedophile sex ring
  • Admit you really don’t care about Hillary’s emails
  • Admit that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii
  • Admit that Obama wasn’t a Muslim terrorist out to destroy America
  • Admit there were no “Death Panels”
  • Admit the Russia investigation was perfectly justified
  • Admit you really don’t care about Hunter Biden

We could probably come up with a lot more to add to that list. (How about, “Admit that God doesn’t favor one political party over another?”) The point is the rank hypocrisy of the GOP. Don’t fall for their latest con. Because that’s exactly what it is and it’s plain as day.

Never use the term libtard again.

Never call democrats "socialists" or "communists" again, unless they are actual members of those parties, in which case they wouldn't be democrats anyway.

Admit that democrats are just as patriotic as republicans.

I'm likewise anticipating an about-face on the whole "net neutrality is obamacare for the internet" thing as well. When all the ISP's refuse to host their violence inciting speech, I'm sure regulation as a title II common utility will look much more attractive

This Dawson cat is getting some bad advice. It's not like this company will have a change of heart and hire him back. That usually isn't an option for an employer to flip opinions like that even if they privately wanted to.

Instead he is tying himself publicly to the Trump and the Capitol attacks. He most likely will get some job offers from Trump sympathizers. Might even pay him a lot of money. But he's now tied to a insurrection forever.

In an election Biden won by like 11k votes, already 5k registered Republicans in Arizona have deregistered from that party in the past week

The vast majority changed to no affiliation. 553 and 570 went D and I, respectively.

I mean who among us hasn't made sure they have zip ties when going on a tactical raid of one of the most sacred government institutions while Congress is in session?  You never know when you'll need to fix something in a half-assed manner.  Just tidying up the Capitol!

Well, yeah.  See, he thought that Trump was just gonna attack messicans, and "thugs," and you know....THOSE people.  And not do anything to jeopardize the actual people with money and power.

You heard this cry before -- "he's hurting the wrong people!"

He's not betrayed because Trump is evil -- he LIKES that Trump is evil.  He's betrayed because Trump is so self-absorbed that he has lousy aim of his evil.

I won't admit this, there's lots of smoke here. It however doesn't matter one bit anymore.

  • Admit the Clintons aren’t part of a pedophile sex ring

Also, one of my more conspiracy theory-ish beliefs, but Bill Clinton definitely fucked around with Epstein. Definitely does shady shit. IDK about a full blown pedo ring, but he has definitely been involved in some weird shit that had some underage people involved. See above, the Clintons are completely irrelevant now.

  • Admit you really don’t care about Hillary’s emails

Don't care Clintons irrelevant.

  • Admit that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii

Was born in Hawaii

  • Admit that Obama wasn’t a Muslim terrorist out to destroy America

Obama is a great American who served as President for 2 full terms. I disagree with a lot he wanted to do and how he led overall, but he did his duties with charisma and respect for the office regardless of how he aligned with my ideology.

  • Admit there were no “Death Panels”

There were no death panels.

  • Admit the Russia investigation was perfectly justified

Super justified

  • Admit you really don’t care about Hunter Biden

Hunter Biden can fuck off.

I'm not a GOP voter or anything, and don't really align politically with any current ideology of a currently elected representative or federally elected position that I could have voted for. Which is a super bummer. I also think that Trump is a dumpster fire piece of shit who needs to be scorned and remembered forever as the worst President this great nation has ever had. I would say that I'm a true Texas Progressive, but only a short term progressive due to the gridlock we have experienced in the congress which refuses to actually litigate and has for my entire adult and voting life.

At this point I don't care what bills get passed, there needs to be a high quantity of small bills that are very focused passed in the near term or we will continue this death spiral of radicalization.

This is basically the core functional problem within our democracy right now. Thanks to the GOP's obstructionism the only way we get anything done is by attaching thousands of pages of riders onto must-pass bills.

We need actual, narrow legislation from actual legislators, not this bullshit that we've been dealing with since Obama took office.
