Actually not sure she's crazy enough for the primary voters there.

If someone shows up in the primary wearing a hat with antlers or horns and a loin cloth and drives a dune buggy with a mounted .50 on it then she might be in for a fight.  But Trump's orange orb shines down on her square torso so she's probably in good … shape, relatively speaking.

Sarah Huckabee has raised $4.8 million for her campaign.  A record in Arkansas.  She'll also be the first governor of Arkansas with size 19 feet.

With a fundraising haul like that she probably has one eye on the Arkansas governorship and one eye on the White House.

And God had a plan so he built her so she could keep an eye on both simultaneously.

It's not a stink eye, alright.  That's just how her face looks:

Yep. No influence at all. History.

Quote

When the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met in 1787 to debate what form of government the United States should have, there were no contemporary democracies in Europe from which they could draw inspiration. The most democratic forms of government that any of the convention members had personally encountered were those of Native American nations. Of particular interest was the Iroquois Confederacy, which historians have argued wielded a significant influence on the U.S. Constitution.

When Rick Santorum says "we,"  who, exactly does he mean?  His father immigrated from Italy in 1930.    He is literally the son of a swarthy immigrant. When he was born, his parents lived in an apartment provided by the VA.

Every time one of these guys releases a book, and claims it's about informing people, and spreading their message, they release it through A) the mainstream companies they claim to hate such as Amazon, and B) they never release it as a free download.  They always have to make a hefty profit.

If he truly cared about spreading his message around, he'd release this book for a free download on his campaign site.

And if he had any common sense, he wouldn't release it through a publisher, he'd self-publish it.  It's only 200 pages.  If he had to hire a ghost writer for that, it's pretty pathetic.

If you don't charge for it how else are you going to grift your campaign by charging it for the free copies given out to supporters?

This. Republican publishing is like the #1 grift for these guys. Spend campaign cash on a bajillion copies, give them away to supporters, buy so many copies it ends up on the NYT best seller list, profit.

I've learned something new. Our culture has not "evolved over time." So I guess slavery must still be a thing.

3+ months in, and no Trumper has thought to wonder why Trump hasn't left the state of Florida yet.  Not even for the magical Lindsey Graham Glamour Golf Giveaway.

Oh, I forgot...Trump is getting much needed rest from the rigorous schedule he kept as a President.  Sometimes up to 5 hours a day of many meetings and calls.

Why the fuck hasn’t he been called into court in New York yet?

They went on a flurry of subpoena and discovery measures right after January 20th.  But things went real quiet, real fast.  It was supposed to start with campaign finance grift.  I'm guessing they're waiting to flip people, but I think it's mainly to see who established permanent residence in which states after the post-term dust settles.  Some of these guys on the shitlist are still living out of suitcases until they figure out their next move, post-Trump.

Because there is no god, part deux:

2020: The most popular TV series will be about a gay Okie who loves his guns and owns hundreds of tigers.  Oh, and at some point, you'll probably be cleaning your groceries with bleach wipes and Chili's will be closed causing a bunch of people to lose their fucking minds.

2021: Do you like insurrection?  Trump is going to get a bunch of idiots to rush the Capitol to try and stop the electoral vote, and end up with felonies on their records.  Do you like flushing your toilet?  Better be ready to start scooping up as much snow as you can and melting it to flush your toilet.  What's that?  Austin doesn't have snow?  Don't worry, you'll get almost half-a-foot of it, and be down into the single digits at night for a few days, and below freezing for a week, so the snow ain't going anywhere. And to top everything off, Randy Quaid is going to be running against Caitlyn Jenner for Governor of California.

Yeah, we really should just pack it up. The Simulation has jumped the shark.

Yes, "we" saved them from sliding off the edge of the flat earth and provided them jobs work, shelter, and old clothes. Oh, and discipline, "we" taught them discipline and how to live in a robust Anglo-Saxon "culture."

Gawd, we're great people living in the greatest country ever!!!!!!!!!

The kids are taught the same stupidity. The cycle never ends unless you educate the current generation

If I was an artist, I would draw the following cartoon:

panel one: White southern plantation guy climbing on the backs of black slaves to get up to a higher level that is labelled something like "middle class, social well-being, american dream, prosperity" something like that.

panel two: Fat white people in maga hats on the higher level in rascals with a sticker saying "payed for by medicaid". Black guys reaching up, asking for help climbing up to the same higher level, and the white people screaming "welfare! Boot-straps!" something like that.
