Her political beliefs suck, but she's at least a true American and it's hard to not love her right now.

Ew, no.

She's still a horrible human being who threw her sister under the bus for her Senate seat.

The bar is just LOW.

I don't love Liz - I tolerate Liz.

I'd like her a lot more if she would go up to a microphone and not only say that she said this stuff to Gym and the others, but just get everything off her chest that is clearly bugging her.

And then drop the mic and walk away.

She could add, ‘Of course waterboarding is torture and both my dad and his boss should’ve been jailed for war crimes.’  But that’s probably asking too much.

The pro-Trump internet went wild on Wednesday for the Freedom Phone, a $500 smartphone that comes stocked with conservative apps and promises to liberate anyone else who buys it from Silicon Valley censorship. The American flag-branded phone was immediately promoted by a wide range of right-wing figures, including former Trump adviser Roger Stone, Jan. 6 rally organizer Ali Alexander, and pundit Dinesh D’Souza.

“I’m holding a freaking phone that is not controlled by Apple or Google,” conservative personality Candace Owens told her fans in an Instagram video. “We made the switch immediately.”

Despite being lauded by some of the right-wing media’s leading figures, though, the Freedom Phone’s buyers could be getting less than they expect for its $500 price tag. That’s because the Freedom Phone appears to be merely a more expensive rebranding of a budget Chinese phone available elsewhere for a fraction of the Freedom Phone’s price.

The Freedom Phone was created by Erik Finman, the self-proclaimed “youngest bitcoin millionaire” and one of Time Magazine’s “Most Influential Teens of 2014.” In a video announcing the phone, Finman said he was inspired to create the phone after the tech giants’ crackdown on both Donald Trump and conservative social media app Parler in the wake of the Jan. 6 riot.

He should’ve listened to his special forces commanders when we had bin Laden and Al Qaeda trapped in a cave complex at Tora Bora and they requested additional American forces so we could finish them off. Instead he sent in Afghan forces, Islamic forces who saw bin Laden as a religious man and let him escape. I’m sure it’s an overstatement but we should’ve dropped a nuke on them and called it quits. Don’t go to war in Iraq (who had nothing to do with 9/11). Just rain down hellfire on the perpetrators of 9/11 and leave it at that. No one in the world would’ve complained. Not seriously, anyway. Pay off the families of anyone who wound up as collateral damage. I can’t imagine anything more satisfying than seeing a mushroom cloud rising over bin Laden’s hiding place. And it probably would’ve eliminated any serious threat of Jihadist terrorism now that we’re leaving the country.

They were all in love with the neocon ideology iterated by Robert Kagan in his books.  They took us down a rathole that made us take our eyes off the real competition ... China.

I clicked on this story hoping to read that young republicans were conflicted over the current RNC platform. Nope. They’re busy rigging they’re own elections and the losing side of this battle is pissed. Practicing for the big leagues. R - rotten at all ages and levels

And one good thing you can say about Dick Cheney is that he departed from party ideology and supported gay marriage because it happened to affect someone he cares about. It shouldn’t require that.

But this is the Republican Party. An issue only matters if it affects them personally. Everyone else can get fucked.

I would just like to put this down for posterity.  Trump World made up false allegations of election fraud.  Complete, utter, total lies and fabrications with absolutely no proof and, in fact, every legal case raising election fraud has been laughed out of court.  Now, based on these same demonstrably false voter fraud allegations, Republicans nationwide are attempting to create or change laws regulating voting to suppress Democratic votes.  As a "response" to voter fraud that never happened!!!  Fucking maddening.

With "These laws will minimize the concern over election security!" as the rationale. In other words- "If you let us do these things, we won't keep bitching about it from this point forward."  As if the laws that Republicans are pushing in Georgia aren't an effort to undo laws Republicans passed earlier in Georgia.

It's never "we should fix our message" or "we should try to serve the people". Rather, it's "we should be winning bigly, so they must be cheating."
