I personally think Don Jr. is an American treasure. Imagine you're stuck in the Sahara with wheel bearings about to seize up. Buzzards are circling, looks like the end. NO! "Hey Don Jr, boy! Git yer ass over here!" You grab him by the collar and use the top of his head to grease all the moving parts, boom, you're outta there.

I refuse to believe that Don Jr. can build enough of a following to build a political career of his own. Hopefully when the Dotard dies his children will disappear from the public eye.

Rachele Mussolini, granddaughter of the Italian fascist leader Benito Mussolini, won the highest number of votes in Rome's city council elections, official results showed Wednesday.

Standing for the Fratelli d'Italia party, which descends from the neo-fascist conservative MSI party-- or Italian Social Movement party -- Mussolini won 8,264 votes.

In an interview with newspaper La Repubblica on Wednesday, Mussolini said she believes voters were focused less on her surname and more on her "initiatives" during her service at the City Council.

"At school they used to point at me, but then Rachele emerged and the person [that I am] prevailed over the surname, however burdensome that name is," she added.

Back stage access with Donald, Jr.?  Wow, really?  Promise?

Considering there'll easy $4k worth of blow back there...you could snatch up all you can and actually come out ahead on this endeavor.

The simulation having Mike Flynn reiterate he is not a Satanist to the Qanon faithful is an absolutely incredible plot twist.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/michael-flynn-to-qanon-believers-im-not-a-satanist

  Quote

Former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has been on a relentless media tour since his pardon last year, sitting for interviews with even the most obscure right-wing media outlets to promote the MAGA agenda.

But on Tuesday, Flynn appeared on a little-known YouTube channel called Truth Unveiled TV for a very different reason: rebutting the idea that he led a church congregation in a Satanic ritual borrowed from a nuclear doomsday cult.

  Quote

In a video entitled “Some Have Said That General Flynn Prayed to Satan in a Recent Prayer,” host Paul Oebel gave Flynn a chance to rebut the growing right-wing controversy alleging he’s signed on with Lucifer.

“I even saw a show the other day saying ‘Michael’s flipped on the side of the devil,’” Oebel said. “Can you please explain what happened there?”

“All of these people that talk about turning to whatever...” Flynn said. “People need to stop overthinking what everybody is saying.”

This Donald Trump Jr Wax Museum & Rally seems to be coinciding with a LOT of rallies nationwide for #TrumpSaveAmerica. There is one in Iowa (I think Trump himself is supposed to be there) and a lot of them are coordinating around Saturday college football games. Makes sense: attempt to be around crowds that may share sentiment, try and get the chant going that has been a thing lately, and try and be on television. It makes the support look larger (a past problem with rally crowds), so whoever is working on this is pretty good. The grassroots rallies are where more local pressure is applied to voters and for the folks looking to raise a ruckus (counter-ops) to create the 'lack of law and order' that the former president ran on, this is where it happens.

I'm not going to clutter the thread with a lot of twitter links and pages, but it's every minute a tweet going out and retweeted by the RW media such as Gateway Pundit, etc.

Sure, but then they' get primaried in the next GOP election.

To succeed in today's iteration of the GOP you literally have to do what the Mypillow guys says, even if that is questioning the legitimacy of our democracy. And respect the flag of the United States. And also talk about succeeding from the United States because you hate it. It all makes so much sense.

I'm failing to see the fucking problem?

Oh, am I being harsh.  Jared Kushner, a guy actually on the fucking Covid-19 Task Force for our United States basically said the same thing.  But in another way.

But I'm the asshole, right Yaga?

That Flynn plagiarized satanic prayer thing is a deep cut. That’s the kind of education that keeps me coming back here. Honestly, the seven rays and legion thing are the least satanic sounding parts of that prayer.

That whole episode had the demeanor of a student who cribbed from the NM scholar but didn't read the annotations. Ooops.

I have noticed that as well - there definitely seems to be some kind of organized push quietly going on (at a low-level, but it's not localized, it's nation-wide).  It's like the PR/social media teams are all firing up everywhere.

Biden is not asserting executive privilege over the Jan 6 stuff with Trump, and the Trump camp have known that was probably going to be the case. Makes me wonder if there is some kind of push to get The True Believers worked up ahead of the information coming out.  Trump and Co. have got to get ahead and try and minimize the fallout from the information dump that's coming.

We've said it multiple times: whoever is first to frame the discussion is usually the one with the image and rhetoric/points that stick. Having these meet-ups with speakers get those points out there ahead of anything that comes out later. It worked brilliantly in coordination with the reps during impeachment-they reinforced everything in the little talking head mic moments at the end of each session, at the close of the day, and later on all the news shows. Whole lotta people believed the 'it's just grandstanding' point and ignored the process and the charge. Same with the coup attempt. It's going to be: "look, another Democratic witch-hunt," or some such. When you still have a goodly percentage believing the Big Lie, this is not going to be a stretch nor is it going to be as hard to pull in the anti-vax people who weren't Trump people because they will focus on the mandate stuff and see the Select Committee as wasting time on something the anti-vax contingent doesn't care about. It's a better offense than people realize.

I'm not a professional in that regard, but they need a couple of people with a clue-Stacey Abrams (grassroots specialist), Pete B (marketing skills), and so on to sit down and give folks a hellfire and brimstone wake-up call.

A positive is that voting has become really easy.  I’m going to have to do zero research for the foreseeable future.  That saves me the hour or two that I would spend reading about the down ballot races to see if there was a R judge that was actually a decent human being.

The Texas Rangers are investigating Ronda Barchak. And the DA is named Tom Selleck.

"For at least six years, the district clerk in Brazoria County used a highly unusual and possibly illegal system to assemble jury panels. Under state law, jurors are supposed to be selected at random from the pool of those who’ve been called to jury duty. But Rhonda Barchak, a Republican who served as district clerk in the fast-growing county that stretches from the Houston suburbs to the Gulf Coast, had her own method. Barchak, who resigned in late August after having held the post since 2010, divided up jurors by geographical region, and then by race, to assemble panels for criminal, civil, and family-law trials. As a result of her idiosyncratic system, thousands of verdicts could potentially be overturned, and the county could face an avalanche of lawsuits claiming wrongful convictions."

1. Of course we are.
2. There’s already been a good bit of shooting and violence. There will be much more.
3. They claim to be worried about an insurgency….when they ARE the insurgency. Every accusation is a confession, chapter infinity.
