Pathetic.

Anyone still supporting and voting for the GOP is hot stinky garbage.

That poll is hilarious, sad, and not surprising, all at the same time.

The party of Lincoln ladies and gentlemen! How far have they fallen.

Also what that poll really means is half of all republicans think trump is moral and ethical and half don’t.
Imagine being so delusional that you thought trump was moral and ethical.

Given his high approval ratings (80-90 percent) among Republicans, that actually says a solid majority of Republicans view him as moral and ethical.

I assume by "Christians" they mean "Fake Christians."

That distinction means zilch to those in the cross hairs of these “fake” Christians until the “real” Christians are more vocal and more active in politics than their counter parts.

They'll lock up 30%+ of the votes just by repeating Socialism over and over.

you just discovered their entire game plan.  the trumpster, along with every senator and representative will be instructed to say socialism at least 10 times during every campaign speech.  and don't forget to mention how socialist your opponent is.

Yep. He got elected in no small part thanks to Bannon's buzz words of Build the Wall and Lock Her Up. We are so screwed.

Yeah....that's an argument angle that fucking pisses me off to no end.  So, let's be clear, we can't sound the alarm till we actually BUILD gas chambers?  Naah, they'll move the goalposts again....quit you're bitching until we're actually USING the gas chambers....then move the goalposts again....we're only using the gas chambers to protect us from really bad hombres.....

We used to live in shame of just what we did regarding Japanese Internment.  Now, we've lost even that sense of shame.

Fuck these fuckers.  For decades, we said "never again."  And now, we're running headlong along the path of "again."  Fuck them.  Not on my watch, not in my name.

it would be awesome if some suit about this makes it to SCOTUS and someone cites Roberts' "oh yeah Korematsu is not good law" aside as controlling.

Sad, pathetic, dickless, no morals, no values, fake Christian, anti-American, low IQ morons. I have a bubble of friends here who see the insanity but we are so outnumbered I just don’t know how much longer I can live here. Even if I left, I don’t know where in this country you can truly escape this nonsense.

SoCal is too sprawled, and NoCal is too expensive. East Cal is basically Western Oklahoma. Hows the job market in SLO?

1.) True to an extent; still way more dense in the urban areas than OK and the suburbs are the same things with infinitely better weather. No tornados.

2.) True, but god damn if it isn't paradise in terms of weather/scenery.

3.) Central Valley would be more accurate - Eastern Cal is pretty mountainous.

4.) This is the first result from googling "San Luis Obispo job market" https://www.sanluisobispo.com/news/local/article213623089.html; also, the first result for "slo unemployment rate" is a State of California economic report showing SLO County unemployment at 2.6 percent in April 2019.

I feel you though. I used to want out of TX because I thought any real change here was decades away. The realignment since 2016 has me kind of energized to stay and help finish the job of turning the tide.

Texas is going to flip and when it does it's not going back.

If that poll is even remotely accurate, it should stand as an indictment to the dangers of nationalism—in this case, the English (*spit*) variety. And, in no way, am I condemning garden-variety patriotism. The two should not be confused but, unfortunately, they are.

Hilary did better than I though in Texas and definitely held the cities. I told my wife if Beto won we were gone to Dallas or Austin. Was really disappointed with how many still voted for the abomination that is Ted Cruz. Even if Beto won, what’s the point if Hot Wheels and and Danica are still running the state? Dems haven’t had a viable candidate for Governor in at least a decade. I may still make the move since the state doesn’t dominate the way it does in Oklahoma. But I seriously feel that people are so brainwashed nationwide by the con man that we’re just fucked as a country wherever you go. It’s really jaw dropping how many cultists he carries.

Yeah, I thought that when they dusted off flag burning as an issue.  That's the bottom of the bag of tricks at this point.

Uniting your base against the jooz and browns is a time-honored trick.  It often works.  Have to protect "the American way of life" and "the character of this nation."  I mean, those are actual phrases being used right now by Tucker Carlson, Ingraham, and that bunch.

Which bible verse are conservatives distorting to justify these concentration camps in 2019?

🧐

They pretty much use "render unto Caesar" as a blanket to cover any argument that amounts to "it doesn't matter what the Gospel says, if it's a law, it's all good."  Of course, by that same logic...."render unto Caesar" also required German citizens to go along with the Holocaust, so....yeah....not the BEST theology there, Bob.

If republicans get upset at calling it concentration camps, then what would they call it?

🧐

Summer camps for the poor. Where they get 3 squares a day, time to play out in the 'yard', and all safely tucked away behind privacy walls for their well being. They get free medical attention and care, so what is wrong with that? They came here for hand outs and now they are enjoying free room and board.

Abortion is routinely compared to a Holocaust for fetuses and genocide.

But calling it concentration camps when you stick ethnic minorities/refugees/asylees into camps with crowded conditions, inadequate facilities and separating them from their children....TOO FAR.

Try again, they just took away "yard time"

Asylees: You know, if you're going to lock us up, we'd really prefer running water, a bed, air conditioning, food, maybe let our kids play outdoors and teach us English so we can assimilate better into your society.

*GOP makes them cram into cages standing up, no air conditioning, takes their soccer balls, cancels English classes*
