The GQP: Trumpist Death Cult

Hugo Stiglitz

Recommended Posts

To me, a big part of the consolidation of power is building a political machine in DC that will crush any opposition to the status quo. The Squad hasn't passed any substantive legislation that I'm aware of, but the machine is preparing to grind them to powder if possible. The machine will do the same to freshman Rs that wander off the beaten path.

I really don't want to be a conspiracy theorist on this, but it just seems more and more likely every day.  And to the billionaire part, abso-fucking-lutely.  It takes a special type of personality to become a billionaire and a big part of that personality is stepping on people's throats.

Behind every great fortune a great crime was committed.

The original kingdom of Israel must be restored

So why do evangelicals shit on Gaza and give Jordan a pass?  Gaza wasn't part of the original. Half of Jordan was.

the original kingdom of israel, aka samaria, wasn't even ruled from jerusalem (which was the capital of the kingdom of judah). the king's writ in jerusalem probably traveled no further than about 20 miles.  and they didn't exactly see eye to eye on religious matters.

The future of Trumpism:

In case you missed this gem, that first sentence is 14 words.

In case you don’t know what that means:

"14 Words" is a reference to the most popular white supremacist slogan in the world: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children." The slogan was coined by David Lane, a member of the white supremacist terrorist group known as The Order (Lane died in prison in 2007). The term reflects the primary white supremacist worldview in the late 20th and early 21st centuries: that unless immediate action is taken, the white race is doomed to extinction by an alleged "rising tide of color" purportedly controlled and manipulated by Jews.

Because of its widespread popularity, white supremacists reference this slogan constantly, in its full form as well as in abbreviated versions such as "14 Words", "Fourteen Words," or simply the number "14."

Now let’s read both sentences again:

"We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children."

"It's time we ended this cosmopolitan experiment and recovered the promise of our republic.”

This is the Senator that replaced Claire McCaskill in November.

The dog whistles are getting fancy.

That particular word, “cosmopolitan”, is more specific even than that. It has been used more or less as a direct euphemism for jews under nationalism “intellectual” frameworks of anti-semitism in Europe and the United States since the early 1940’s. Examples include the phrase “rootless cosmopolitanism”. It’s not just a dog whistle, but a fascist/Stalinist-specific dog whistle that evokes images of international Jewish conspiracy.

David Duke is back except this time he’s a doctor and a Senator

Next time I run the OKC Half Marathon, I'll make it a point to tell everyone there that Antifa is the real threat.

This whole belief that left wing domestic terrorism is on par with right wing/white nationalist terrorism is blatantly false and has been well documented.

I always love it when politicians wear their "man of the people" outfits that are clearly brand new.  Immaculately cleaned and pressed work clothes are especially good.

Dannie Goeb even had an immaculate pickup truck in a campaign ad.

That stupid “alternative” search engine is just another way for scared old white people to bury themselves deeper in their echo chamber.

Ole Cletus can’t be googling “How many dirty immigrants murdered babies last year?” and get facts they don’t believe in. That might actually challenge their narrow bigoted beliefs.

It's so bizarre. We each have all of the information ever available within a few clicks on our phones, and truth and transparency are nowhere to be found. Weird.

That's because it's easier to disseminate disinformation as well.  The internet makes it far easier to overwhelm the truth with lies.  The Russians couldn't go print out fake newspapers to distribute all over America in the 60s to 80s. People just read their local rag.  Subversive shit like a Fox News equivalent existed but it didn't have a large reach.

I’ve been seriously considering it.  It’s so damned easy to get stories retweeted by the more popular right-wingers.

But it would feel dirty as fuck.  But it would be some easy spending money.  And it would make for a fun long con.

If Jerry Jones can scam low IQ poors into pouring their hard earned pennies into a shitty, make-believe product then you can too!

We had a good run.

His listeners really do think Antifa is running rampant in America.  I know a few of these people and I always ask them to name 2 or 3 incidents and they always come up short.  It's usually a protest or something.

I also like how they think Christians are being persecuted but it's them who are chanting "send her back."

So Trump is openly using the Lord’s name in vain at his campaign rallies.

And he’s spending more time on twitter reassuring Kanye West that he will get some rapper out of jail, than he’s spending on the 50th Anniversary of a man, an American , walking on the fucking moon.

Well done, GOP, well done.

This is who you are.  A party led by a reality TV star concerned with pleasing his rapper buddy, and who gives two shits about the Bible.

He's also a racist. Let's not forget that. It's very important.

They love to call the Ds Socialists but what do the Rs offer in 2019?  Stabilizing healthcare for Americans, responsible foreign policy, responsible spending, dealing with immigration like adults?

Anything but fear mongering and rolling back Obama's policies to own the libs?
