The craziest thing about all the "showing them where Kyle Field is" stories is that you can see that fucking monstrosity from 11 miles away from any direction.

They just thought it was a Kroger.

lol yeah - neither my brother or buddy had ever been to Texas (I have many times), so when we visited last January for the national title game in Houston I took them around to various places so they could experience at least a little bit of Texas, like what H-E-Bs were closed (all of them), etc. As we'd all flown into Dallas for various reasons, on the way back I wanted to show them CS (they're familiar with A&M's various quirks including the Finding Kyle Field stories). As we drive into town my buddy said "people couldn't find THAT thing?"

After driving around campus for a bit, my brother asked me "Can we get the hell out of here? This place makes me sad" and so we did.

Why does your brother hate Texas and Victory in WWII.

I'd be willing to bet that Nancy has hosted some men's balls in the women's stalls.

Certainly in her bigass mouth.

"It's racist to characterize whites as racist," Ho wrote. "Because it’s racist to attach any negative trait to a group of people based on their race. And it's no less racist just because the victimized racial group is white."

That's some epic fucking doublespeak.  He was branded a racist because he was racist.  He just happened to be white.

Always have been. Same with the guy who played Stryper on his boom box at full blast on our way to track meets in East Texas in the late 80s. He was going to simultaneously show us how cool he was and convert us for Christ!

It didn’t quite work out that way. But he’s just as loud about it today as he was then.

lol, Stryper. I was a FUCKING NERD (probably still am) growing up and even I knew Stryper was lame as shit.

Of course you did.  We all did.  But there's always that one dude who ruins it for everyone.

"You know what this yellow bus needs as we all pull out for bumblefuck Texas at 4am?  Lets jam some Stryper up in this beeyotch!"

Meanwhile, we were drinking vodka from shampoo bottles in the back.  You ain't never had vodka, less you've had Prell infused vodka.

Had a kid that looks like they would fall into the Gen Z age goup or not much older pull up to me today on Parmer at a red light. Notice him waving to catch my attention and thought maybe he noticed something wrong with my vehicle. Quickly found out that wasn’t the case. While he’s really polite, asked me a bunch of questions about believing in Jesus etc. I was like… yes I believe in God, but I’m not a Christian. And this is a really weird convo to have at a stop light, oh it’s green now, take care!

No idea what prompted this… only thing I can think of is maybe my small Y’all means all sticker on my truck.

I’d put a Bless Y’all’s Heart sticker on my car.

Some of these culty churches/pastors target college campuses, kinda like joining a frat or sorority, but worse.  I know because I have a relative that is in one sadly.  They claim to be nondenominational but are still like, “only our flock gets to go to heaven” ‘one true church’ doctrine.  It’s gross.

So sorta like Church of Christ, but they sway back and forth while mumble-singing over a piped-in Contemporary Worship track that sounds like a Mary Tyler Moore music outtake?
