Watched Logan the other night during a bout of insomnia.

I tend to watch porn when I have a bout of insomnia. Might as well release some stress.

Went to see Paddington in Peru last night. If you have kids you DEFINITELY need to take the to see it. Just a beautiful movie overall. Even if you don't have kids this is a movie to go see because you'll leave the theatre feeling good. It was just a film that makes you feel good and I am glad there is more of this type of stuff out there now.

Been on a Woody Allen kick. Watched Midnight in Paris. Enjoyed it, but just not an Owen Wilson fan for some reason. Blue Jasmine. Loved it and Kate Blanchett was outstanding. Annie Hall. Didn't realize Diane Keaton had such a great voice, and she was total smoke. Classic great movie.

Companion - I didn't have whole lot of interest in this, but I kept hearing great things, so I took a shot.  It's a really good and creative thriller.  I would go in blind if you can, but I knew the premise and it still worked for me.  I thought both the premise and the execution of the story were very clever and I was entertained the whole time.

Margin Call is A perfect movie in my estimation. The whole cast was fantastic. While the directors other movies were ok to good, his first one is the standout.

Reminds me of the Lives of Others director in that his first movie is the standout while his other movies are ok.

It’s true what Elvis Costello said, “You have your whole life to write your first album and only 18 months to write your second.”

Watched Margin Call on Prime last night. I was riveted within the first 10 minutes. Apparently they shot the movie in 17 days.

Simon Baker and Jeremy Irons were both great.

I wish I could watch Margin Call for the first time again. Instead I just rewatch it at least once a year

Rescue Dawn

It's about a U.S. navy pilot (played by Christian Bale) who get's shot down in Vietnam. Based on a true story, action and fighting plays a fairly minor role in the film, which is probably why it wasn't a box office hit. I found it a good movie and worth the watch, but it's not on the level of something like Saving Private Ryan.

The Monkey. This did deliver comedy with the death scenes. I LOL’d out loud along with the rest of the people there when they happened. This was a well done movie and it went straight to the point of things. I would watch it again. If any of you have a frustrating day mark down watching this one once it starts streaming.

Just watched IT. Jesus this movie sucks so bad. Total pile of shit

I liked the mini-series I watched as a kid more. It was scarier to me as a child than watching two movies about it as an adult.

Juror #2.
Very meh and predictable from the start.

It needed something more. Just watched it last night. Came away the same. Jesus they totally wasted Simmons. His plot almost was pointless.

Damn Rotton Tomatoes failed me. It was that or Conclave and they both were 93 critic with Juror #2 higher audience score. Audiences are dumb.
