Bo French, who earlier this year wrote online and asked whether Jews or Muslims are the biggest threat, has resigned to run for Texas Railroad Commission.  Why?  Because the Islamists and the DEI folks are out of control and Bo French says he's going to save us from them. Mind you, there's absolutely nothing in the Texas Railroad Commission's charter or mandate which tasks the commission with protecting us from a religion or from DEI. No. The Texas Railroad Commission is tasked with regulatory jurisdiction over the oil and natural gas industry, pipeline transporters etc... That's it.  But that little fact isn't going to stop Bo French from (somehow) stopping the Muslim takeover of Texas.  Plus, the dude is French!

Tarrant County is pretty purple, but led by the northern burbs (Southlake and environs) is hard red and among the worst GQPers in the state (O'Hare, Wambsganss, French) So it's fairly easy for Bo to move among fellow travelers. He probably would get his ass kicked in most of Fort Worth, proper, save a few enclaves.
