So they are gonna start flagging fuckers for doing horns down?

Bout damn.  That's straight up disrespect.

I'm all for not giving the BigXII officials any reason to pull a flag, because you know they are looking for it.  Maybe Herm could go to the officials before the game to "clarify" - "will this be called if he does it?"  If they say "no" then let him do it.

Remember holstering your guns is unsportsmanlike conduct

Someone better tell Sterns then because he shot an arrowing into the sky after big play recently.  And of course discharging a weapon (even if a bow and arrow) has got to be worse than holstering one.

BTW, anyone know the significance of the shooting an arrow into the sky thing.  It's pretty damn cool IMO.

When Chris sacks the QBs, everyone in the stands should do a belly rub. CDC get marketing on this.

I'd do the belly rub after any nice defensive stop.  Johnson doing the Bellybration in that gif was great.

As much as I respect Orlando for the job he's done, I really hope Chris gets to play in a big bowl game this year, makes a sack and does the belly rub. What's Todd gonna do..bench him?

So you want a team captain to set insubordination as his final example for the youngsters before he leaves? Come on man.

That's not insubordination, bowl games are exhibitions..a reward after a long season. The young guys know they'll have to wait their senior year (or JR if they're bailing for the league) before they can get away with that shit. Refs tend to let stuff like that go in bowl games (within reason) because they understand what it is as well..

Yeah this doesn't hold up. First of all it's only drawing attention because it's funny. That taunting shit we did last year v. Missouri was way more embarrassing imo (which I still loved bc fuck 'em that's why). The big man (your 1-tech) makes a play and rubs his belly and it's funny and he deserves to, why would I as a Texas Ex get all high n mighty about it and start spouting off "we're Texas"?

As long as it's agreed upon with the coaches beforehand, idgaf what he does. It's insubordination if the coaches tell him not to do something and he does it anyway.

Poona 2.0 Nelson will draw some NFL checks over the next several years as well as Charles O. Charles best still might be out in front of him.

Charles keeps playing like he did vs KSU and he may get garner draft attention, otherwise he will not be collecting NFL checks.  Dude plays stiff af and has no bend, needs to step up.  KSU was a good start.

Lots of fun Texas-OU talk today. Florida native Chris Nelson: "My first time coming out that tunnel, my eyes opened up. Dang, it's real."

Really happy to have such a great season from Nelson. It is a snowball effect, Poona teaches Nelson. Nelson is teaching Wilbon and Coburn and it will keep the high level NT play alive for our defense.

Didn’t Quan get flagged for diving into the end zone against tOSU?

Wilbon is a solid backup. A bit less disruptive, but strong against the run.

He's a solid backup, but now we're asking him to play starter snaps. And his backups are either JAGs or completely unproven.

Herman said they might activate him.

In addition to Coburn possibly playing, also saw that Chisholm might see some playing time......

Obviously Wilbon & Christmas- Giles will get early reps at NT.

This type of situation is where the four game redshirt rule is really helpful. I would imagine we will see Chislom and Christmas before Coburn, but all three of those guys were headed for RS status so the ability to play them in this spot is immensely helpful. Might see some of Graham too - he has seen snaps at nose.
