Bet this NCAA Transfer Portal really heats up now.  With more and more juniors leaving early, Teams stocking up a few more transfers will be important.

Guessing Les Miles will be pretty active here for sure.....

This Week.... Per Inside Texas....

NCAA TRANSFER PORTAL

Texas had its first name appear in the new NCAA transfer portal this week. If you've read the tea leaves and depth charts, it shouldn't be difficult to decipher who it is. But it wouldn't be cool to release the name because there's a chance if he didn't like what potential new programs were selling him, he can actually return to school. We've heard these kids can actually visit schools, then withdraw their name if they don't think they'll find a better situation. It's something we are monitoring daily.

Probably right on Porter.

Other possible transfer candidates I thought about:  Toneil Carter, Jordan Pouncey, J.P. Urquidez, Cameron Townsend,  and Montrell Estell.

Besides Porter,  wouldn't be surprised if Shane's name ends up on the NCAA Transfer Portal List (after the Bowl Game) to see what interest he may draw.  Glad to know that a  player may be able to withdraw their names and stay.....

Estell hasn't been healthy. I'd think he would have played this year over Brown had he been able to do so. He could transfer, but he's got to get healthy, 1st.

Tight End:  Wonder if he's a Grad Transfer and can play immediately?

"Fritts, who sat out the entire 2018 season with a knee injury suffered in the spring that required surgery, was expected to be a big contributor for the Tar Heels as a senior. Instead, he red-shirted, maintaining his final year of college eligibility. Junior tight end Carl Tucker started in Fritts’ place, notching 16 catches for 265 yards and two touchdowns.

Fritts recorded 25 catches for 177 yards and four touchdowns as a junior. His four touchdowns were second only to wide receiver Anthony Ratliff-Williams, who had six.

The veteran tight end would have been a nice addition to a 2018 Tar Heels squad that struggled to do anything right offensively. And he certainly would have helped All-ACC performer Ratliff-Williams to get more open looks in the passing game.

For his career, Fritts caught 47 passes for 439 yards and nine touchdowns. There’s no indication at this time where Fritts will transfer."

On paper he seems like a good fit and if he can get time with Yancy he might be able to make an impact next season while Brewer and Leitao sort their individual performance issues out.

Well.... we know Hand knows this kid.  Not sure if Horns will have an interest or not....

It's a shame Auburn ruined his chance to Redshirt this Season.....

"Martin appeared in six games this season, finishing with 13 carries for 57 yards while adding a pair of receptions for 36 yards."

Like the previous poster stated, since Martin is transferring, he has to sit out a year unless he goes the JUCO route......

Wow... that is ... surprising.  I guess he got fed up with Fatterson.  Can't say I blame him.

He lost his starting job likely for next year. It turns out he really isn’t a good QB.

For the right team that can teach him to protect the football...... nice athlete....

Wonder what restrictions Fatterson is putting on this transfer.... or maybe he encouraged it??

Might be a good fit with Briles at UH or Giblet at McNeese??
