Hello to this year's Matthew Caldwell!

•
• Chris Hummer @chris_hummer

Texas has signed Coastal Carolina QB MJ Morris, @mzenitz and I have learned for @CBSSports.

Morris has thrown for 2,021 yards and 20 TDs in his career, which has included stops at NC State and Maryland.

Are we sure he can’t play linebacker? Sheesh

Has he ever been to Greenland?

This is it! This is the big one!

he’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year.

He’s here to put some pressure on KJ Lacey for that backup role. Welcome

It’s possible it's not even that and he’s merely there to come in for a mid game injury to Arch because they don’t want the kid to have to do that before he gets experience.

MJ should starts.

Possible, I think this to make sure Dia Bell gets a redshirt year to heal up and develop. Boring pick-up, but necessary.

All in

So KJ Lacey is the new Trey Owens? Got it

Can he block?

Anyone who's paid attention to Sark's QB roster knew something like this was coming.

Hook'em to Morris!

You all said you wanted another OL. Well. Here.

Is there a spot in the TE room for Arch?

Welcome to the 40 young man. Get yourself a Texas degree and become a Longhorn for life you will not regret it.

Did he not finish the game he started against Penn State or did he only have one highlight.

Looks like he started to sidearm it more at Coastal then he did at Maryland.

4 schools in 4 years.

His transcript must be a mess.

Yeah but his bank account just got healthy.

I wonder how Arch's family feels about this new addition. Hope he doesn't transfer.

Hopefully he throws a game winning TD if needing to come in at the end of an sec game.

If this dude takes one meaningful snap then things have gone more off the rails at QB than we’ve ever seen before.

Moonshot!

So how long until the geniuses on the football board will be telling me that I can't tell them that I wouldn't rather see this guy get a chance?
